Officers Of Year Honored

The Benton Harbor-St. Joseph Exchange Club is honoring police officers in the area today. The organization has selected eight individuals as winners of its Police Officer of the Year Award, which have been given out almost every year since 1974. The officers who win have been selected by their peers within their departments. Selected this year are Benton Charter Township Sergeant Eric Haskin; Benton Harbor Detective Wesley Smigielski; Berrien County Sheriff's Sergeant Julie Flick; Coloma Township Officer Dan Stuglik; Lincoln Township patrolman Todd Hopke; St. Joseph Township patrolman Bryan Blurton and St. Joseph Sergeant Rick Pulliam.
