Berrien Springs Massage Therapist Goes To Jail Over Inappropriate Contact Allegations

A massage therapist from Berrien Springs will be serving 90 days in jail and five years probation for inappropriate contact with a client. 70 year old Johan Albert Abrahams pleaded guilty this year to fourth degree criminal sexual conduct, and he was sentenced on Tuesday in Berrien County Court. A 39 year old woman had accused him of touching her in an inappropriate manner back in September, and at least six others have come forward with allegations since his arrest. As part of his sentence, Abrahams will also have to register as a sex offender and pay for the counseling of his alleged victims.
