The GRAMMY Nominees Have Been Announced!

The Grammy nominations are in, and Kendrick Lamar has a lot to celebrate — after earning 11 nominations to lead the pack.

Taylor Swift and The Weeknd each hauled in seven nominations, with Tay being the only act to sweep into all three major categories: 1989 is up for Album of the Year, while "Blank Space" was recognized in both Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

Interestingly, Taylor and Lamar also share a nomination: Their team-up on "Bad Blood" earned mention in the pop duo/group performance category. The Weeknd earned his nods for Beauty Behind the Madness, which is up for Album of the Year, and "Can't Feel My Face,"  a nominee for Record of the Year.

Best New Artist looks to be one of the most competitive categories, with Meghan Trainor and Tori Kellygoing head-to-head. Country star Sam Hunt, a surprise winner in the same category at the American Music Awards, is also nominated, along with James Bay and Australian rocker Courtney Barnett.

Swedish super-producer Max Martin has six chances at a Grammy this time around. Drake has five.
The 58th annual Grammy Awards will air live on CBS on February 16th.
