13-year-old Caleb White may be young, but he’s wise enough to realize that sometimes all kids need is a little fun to make them feel better.
Caleb has been volunteering and helping the homeless since he was just six years old, but with his latest effort, he’s not giving “things” – he’s providing fun. Caleb hosts monthly game nights for kids at a Detroit shelter, complete with board games, pizza and soda.
"It’s just a great night for us and for them," said Caleb, who was honored this year as one of the top 10 youth volunteers in the nation through the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards program.
