A few weeks ago, tornadoes damaged neighborhoods and injured people in North Texas.
Now that things are calming down and getting cleaned up, a salon in Rowlett, Texas, which is surrounded by neighborhoods affected by the twisters, has opened its doors and is offering free haircuts to those affected by the tornado.
Salon owner Brenda Garcia-Spencer was out helping with the clean-up efforts but wanted to do more. So, she’s giving survivors a little break and some free pampering, with the goal of making people feel good and smile.
Her salon, luckily, wasn’t damaged too badly – and her staff is excited to have another free-haircut session again soon.
