Alfred and Sylvia Paley have been married for 67 years and have enjoyed a wonderful life together and countless memories. But 89-year-old Alfred has been suffering from memory loss and was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s.

The couple’s grandson, Sam Maller, has now made it his personal mission to show that although memories can be lost, true love never dies. You just need to be reminded every now and then.

Maller, who is a journalism student, has created a moving video tribute, containing interviews and photos, to his grandparents chronicling their entire life together, from when they first met as teenagers to today. The hope is that the video will preserve their memories and that others will see it and understand that just because Alzheimer’s can cause great challenges, it can’t erase the love between two people.
