Just Waiting For The Calvin Harris Breakup Song…

It’s been a good 24 hours since Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris announced their split, which means she probably has three or four bitter breakup tunes ready to go.

Some people wear their hearts on their sleeves, but Taylor has always put hers directly into her music — and she has a long list of splitsville songs to prove it.

  • “Style”: As if the title alone didn’t give a hint about what “Direction” this song is aimed in, the Harry Styles lookalike in the video seals the deal.

  • “I Knew You Were Trouble”: Another one about that Harry situation, which Taylor herself confirmed by saying her Grammy performance was especially nasty because “the person the song is directed at [was] standing by the side of the stage watching.”

  • “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together”: The sly dig about loving indie rock, and the tweaks about certain personality quirks, point to Jake Gyllenhaal as the guy on blast here.

  • “Dear John”: Yes, the title is a big hint, but Tay drives home her point by getting into their big age difference — which John Mayer complained about in many interviews after its release.

  • “Better Than Revenge”: More of a shot at “the other woman” who came between her and Joe Jonas. That would be Camilla Belle, the “actress [in her] vintage dresses” dissed in the lyrics.

  • “Forever and Always”: This one is aimed straight at Jonas himself. In the tune, Tay mopes about sitting around staring at her phone — the same phone Joe sent her a real-life breakup message on.

  • “Tim McGraw”: No, she didn’t have a fling with the country superstar. She did, however, get dumped by high school boyfriend Brandon Borello when he went to college — just like the girl in the song.
