I will be the first one to admit, my guilty pleasure is all The Bachelor/Bachelorette/Bachelor in Paradise related! So, it should be any surprise that I’m BEYOND excited to hear that cable network LOGO just announced a new Bachelor-style dating reality series called Finding Prince Charming!
Sadly, there is no official air date set, but what we do know that is that N’SYNC’s Lance Bass will be the host, and it will feature an all gay men cast vying for the love of “one of the nation’s most eligible gay heartthrobs,” or at least that’s what the press release says. The show will follow the same premise as The Bachelor series, where each week our Prince votes off one of his suitors until his love sweeps him off his feet and they begin a relationship together. (Cue the Oooh’s and Aaah’s!)
Now, I’d love to start some juicy rumors as to WHO this heartthrob is (here’s looking at you Anderson Cooper & Ricky Martin!), but all the speculation in Hollywood is its interior designer Robert Sepulveda Jr., granted he helped build that fire by retweeting a Perez Hilton story about the show. Based on a few tweets from Hollywood’s biggest names, they are just as excited as I am – and hopefully you are too!
Based on my *eh hem* research, he’s got all the bases covered: tall, dark, handsome, successful and can wear a business suit and Speedo like his life depends on it!
It might be worth saying, there is no official relationship between Finding Prince Charming and The Bachelor franchise, other than they both happen to be drama filled reality TV shows.
Now we wait for the official cast line up which should be out in a couple of weeks, and then what could possibly be the MOST DRAMATIC SEASON EVER!
