Bride-to-be Jamie Kennedy is lucky to have her engagement ring back after it slid off her finger in Lake Michigan – which, as you may know, is a Great Lake … as in a very big lake.
In hopes of getting the ring back, Jamie asked her Facebook friends to keep an eye out for the ring – as well as for advice on how to find it.
Well, two days after being lost, John Dudley – a complete stranger – stepped forward and offered his services.
You see, John just happens to be the president of a metal detector club in western Michigan. He ended up battling strong waves and finding the 1.3-carat ring in the bottom of the lake, making Jamie believe that “miracles can happen.”
