Kelly Clarkson‘s music set a really romantic mood in Nashville on Friday night — so romantic that an audience member hopped onstage to offer a marriage proposal.
Kel paused her annual Miracle on Broadway charity concert to invite longtime fan Kiana Clark to the stage, along with her girlfriend of two years, identified only as Amanda. Kiana took the microphone to address the arena, saying, “I’ve traveled my whole life since I was like 10 years old. I never really had a place to call home until I met Amanda. She’s my home, and we’ve been together for over two years now. We own a house together and there’s no better way to propose than by doing so with the help of Ms. Clarkson here.”
Kiana then dropped to one knee and popped the question — and, much to the relief of Kelly and everyone else, she got a resounding “yes!”
