Bruno Mars recently paid tribute to the hit ’90s sketch comedy show In Living Color with the video for the remix of “Finesse” featuring Cardi B. The video even got a stamp of approval from some members of the Wayans family.
Kim Wayans, who was known for her character Benita Butrell, says the “amazing tribute” made her “emotional.” And In Living Color alum Marlon called the visuals “doooope as [hell].” Damon called it a “dope video” and shouted out his “brother [Keenan] Ivory.” And Damien wrote, “If this nostalgic, fun video didn’t give you chills, well you just wasn’t a fan of the brilliance of this era. Shout out the super talented Bruno Mars and even bigger shout out to the mastermind that is my Unc (show creator Keenan Ivory Wayans).”
