John Mayer went low budget making the clip for his single “New Light.”
Mayer tweeted, “I needed to make a video for ‘New Light’ but nobody could agree on a budget. (MUSIC INDUSTRY amirite?) So I went to a place downtown and made this with a company that usually does birthday and Bar Mitzvah videos.”
We’re not so sure that the “Celebrity Status Music Video Service” listed at the start and the end of the clip is real, but the video certainly looks homemade.
