1989 – Prince worked closely with director Tim Burton to produce the “Batman: Motion Picture Soundtrack” and it was released on this day.
1992 – Mariah Carey earned her sixth Number 1 U.S Single with the song “I’ll be there.” This song also earned a U.S Number 1 in 1970 with “The Jackson Five.”
2003 – Lionel Richie received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a brilliant birthday gift for the 54 year old musician.
