The Coast Music Museum for June 28th 2018

1986 – Wham! topped the U.K singles chart with their fourth and final No.1 and played their farewell concert in London to an audience of 80,000.

1997 – “The Dark Side of The Moon” by Pink Floyd spent its 1056th consecutive week on the U.S Album Charts. Music lore states that if cued properly when watching “The Wizard of Oz”, this album syncs up eerily well with the film.

2007 – The Spice Girls announced that they were reforming for a world tour that would go on to take place December 2007 and January 2008. They had not performed together since May of 1998.

Artifact of the day:  1968 – The Beatles recorded “Good Night” from their White Album, John Lennon’s lullaby for his 5 year old son Julian.
