Larry King has broken his silence on the deaths of two of his children in the last three weeks.
On Sunday the TV journalist wrote on Facebook, “It is with sadness and a father’s broken heart that I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy King and Chaia King. Both of them were good and kind souls and they will be greatly missed.”
Chaia was 51 and Andy was 65.
King explains that “Andy passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 28th, and Chaia passed on August 20th, only a short time after having been diagnosed with lung cancer. Losing them feels so out of order. No parent should have to bury a child.”
The 86-year-old TV host is also the father to three adult sons, Larry JuniorChance and Cannon.

Paris Hilton opens up about her troubled teen years in the upcoming documentary This Is Paris, where she reveals that she was abused at a boarding school in Utah.
She tells People magazine, “People might assume everything in my life came easy to me, but I want to show the world who I truly am.”
The Simple Life star says she was a rebellious teen, which prompted her parents to send her to several boarding schools in the late 1990s. The last one was Utah’s Provo Canyon School, where she stayed for 11 months.
Paris says, “From the moment I woke up until I went to bed, it was all day screaming in my face, yelling at me, continuous torture.”
She adds that “the staff would say terrible things. They were constantly making me feel bad about myself and bully me. I think it was their goal to break us down. And they were physically abusive, hitting and strangling us. They wanted to instill fear in the kids so we’d be too scared to disobey them.”
Three of her former classmates, who claim they were force-fed medication and held down by restraints as punishment, appear in This Is Paris, which premieres September 14th on Paris Hilton’s YouTube channel.
