In Fairfield, Ohio, five-year-old Cayden Cummings wanted to set up a lemonade stand to raise money for school supplies for kids at his school.

Cayden went the extra step of using an inflatable dinosaur next to the stand to draw even more attention to his cause.

It worked. Cayden, amazingly, was able to raise $1,020 for his school.

In order to safely have the lemonade sale in these unusual times, his father Terrell went out and bought cans of lemonade, along with bottles of Gatorade and water.

The offer was simple. The drinks were free to anyone who wanted one. Cayden was just asking for donations.

His neighborhood stepped up in a big way and — thanks to Cayden’s bright idea and big heart — many, many students at his school will have all the tools they need to succeed in their classwork. (For more on this story, WKRC-TV)
