On a normal day, Ryan Nataluk works as an engineer who spends some of his days inspecting bridges.
During a recent inspection, he and his team were surprised to see a stranded dog on one of those bridges, 120 feet above the Mississippi River.
Ryan was able to make his way over to the dog, put her in a harness — and bring her to safety.
And while that sounds like a death-defying stunt, Ryan suggests it was no big deal, especially considering he’s been climbing bridges for a living for more than 23 years … and spends his spare time mountain climbing.
