As we reported yesterday, lots of people expect today to be the most stressful day of their lives. And new research from the American Psychological Association seems to confirm that. Their research found that 68% of Americans say the 2020 election is a significant source of stress in their lives — up from 52% in 2016. And it seems the stress is equally felt, regardless of party – 76% of Democrats, 67% of Republicans and 64% of Independents said they had stress related to the election. (NBC)

Well, we now know what has helped us get through this pandemic … butter. Land O’Lakes says their butter sales will likely be up 20% this year over a normal year. And with all the baking, home cooking, and comfort food eating we’ve been doing, we can’t say it’s a surprise. (Food & Wine)

Sick of working from home? Some Marriott hotels are offering “day passes” for members of their Bonvoy travel program. You’ll get a hotel room from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., a desk area and wifi, coffee, water and room service – and you can even use hotel perks like gyms and pools – depending on the location. Currently, Marriott is offering the day pass package at hotels in Atlanta, Dallas, New York, Phoenix, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London, Singapore and Toronto. They have plan to add more locations in the near future. (NY Post)

A great reason to grab the remote … New research has found that couples who watch TV and movies together are closer and have better relationships. So if you’re arguing more these days, just grab the remote and snuggle up. (People)
