Mariah Carey‘s vault is the gift that keeps on giving — and it’s just given us a video to a song that was released 25 years ago.
Mimi served up the video that was meant to accompany the single “Underneath the Stars,” but was never released. She went on Instagram saying, “It’s one of my favorite songs from the Daydream album and somehow never got released. I’m so happy to have found it for #MC30.”
Back in 2012, she told her fans that they’d probably never see the clip, saying, “Little known fact, I actually shot a video 4 ‘Underneath The Stars’ in France & England that never got released & I don’t know where it is!”

Paul McCartney and Taylor Swift wanted to guest at each other sets at the Glastonbury festival this year.
The two are on the cover of the new “Musicians on Musicians” issue of Rolling Stone. They met up for a conversation and photo shoot at McCartney’s London office in early October and chatted making new albums during the pandemic, songwriting in general and missing out on playing the 50th anniversary of England’s biggest music festival. Here’s how that part of the there conversation went:
Swift: Wow, it would’ve been so fun to play Glastonbury for the 50th anniversary together.
McCartney: It would’ve been great, wouldn’t it? And I was going to be asking you to play with me.
Swift: Were you going to invite me? I was hoping that you would. I was going to ask you.
McCartney: I would’ve done “Shake It Off.”
Swift: Oh, my God, that would have been amazing.
