The NY Post says a recent PhD graduate from the University of Alberta has created a face mask that kills the coronavirus. Illaria Rubino has won awards for her mask. It’s coated with salt and kills bacteria within five minutes of coming in contact with it. She believes her mask can also kill the flu and other viruses.
Seattle’s Salt & Straw ice cream shop is selling several Thanksgiving-inspired flavors including Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey. The ice cream is infused with crispy turkey skin, brittle and duck fat.
The Sweet Potato Casserole ice cream is infused with brown sugar, cinnamon, whipped Maple fluff, pecans and sweet potatoes.
The Roasted Peach and Sage Cornbread Stuffing ice cream has cornbread cookies, herbs and sage.
