Demi Lovato has signed on to star in a comedy series called Hungry, which has scored a put pilot order at NBC. The show, according to Variety, “follows friends who belong to a food issues group as they help each other look for love, success and the perfect thing in the fridge that’s going to make it all better.” Demi will also executive-produce.

Kanye West is back…in L.A., that is.
The rapper and former presidential candidate has finally left his Wyoming ranch and returned home. He was spotted for the first time since news of his impending divorce from Kim Kardashian broke. Photographers snapped pics of him arriving Sunday by private jet at Van Nuys Airport.
A source tells Entertainment Tonight, “Kim and Kanye are still heading for divorce,” despite the fact that they “still communicate regularly.” They’re apparently keeping things civil for their four children. Another insider says, “Kim and Kanye will do what is best for their kids and are on great terms as parents.”

Harry Potter could be coming to TV.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, a live-action series is in early development at HBO Max.
Sources says executives at the streamer “have engaged in multiple conversations with potential writers exploring various ideas that would bring the beloved property to television.”
So far, they’ve only discussed “broad ideas” as “part of the early-stage exploratory meetings,” and “no writers or talent are currently attached.”
This comes only months after creator J.K. Rowling caused a firestorm in the trans community over her definition of biological sex.
It’s probably worth noting that the eight Harry Potter movies have grossed more than $7 billion worldwide.
