Southern Living magazine says children at the Stars Early Learning Academy, in Fairhope, Alabama, celebrated Mardi Gras by putting on a parade for residents at a nearby nursing home. The kids dressed in Mardi Gras costumes and decorated go-karts and strollers with beads and other Mardi Gras decor. A trumpet player then led their parade in front of the nursing home. Residents waved from their windows.
