David Schwimmer tells the BBC that the cast of ”Friends” may get back into character during their HBO Max reunion show. ”I’m going to LA to shoot the Friends Reunion. I will get to see everyone for the first time in years. Nothing is scripted and we are not in character. We are all ourselves, although there is one section of it that I don’t want to give away, but we all read something. I should have genned up on old episodes, but I just haven’t been able to bring myself to catch up on the 236 shows. I guess I need to watch a lot over the next five days!”

The Globe claims Ellen DeGeneres is allegedly fighting to save her career and marriage. A source tells the magazine, “Ellen’s been hit by a double whammy and her nerves are frayed. Her ratings are tanking, and her marriage is coming apart at the seams. Her strategy is to let the storm die down and then pull in some huge guest stars to win back her audience and reestablish herself as top-dog on the talk show circuit. Ellen is in a really bad place over Portia’s health crisis. Ellen realizes more than ever how much she desperately loves Portia, but she also knows it’ll be a lot of work to get the relationship back on track.”
