Heather Cole from United Way of Southwest Michigan gets us ready for National Voter Registration Day on September 20 with details on important dates and resources available to help you at uwsm.org!

United Way is joining efforts all over the state and country to encourage people to register to vote and get ready to vote in the November election.

We have heard so many times from people all over our community that they feel disconnected and they want to be part of conversations and decisions about their future. Voting is such a great way to become more connected and a part of the process.

And voting districts have changed this year. So you may be voting in a different district than you have before, could be voting for different representatives than you have in the past, and you may even have a different place where you cast your ballot. So it’s important to get ready to vote this year, because so many things may be different.

UWSM has some links to great voter resources on our website that can help you make sure you’re ready to go, whether you plan to vote in-person, vote by mail, need accessible voting resources, we’ve got links and information that can help you. UWSM.ORG
