The renovation of South Haven’s Kids’ Corner Park is nearly done. Public Works director Bill Hunter gave an update to the city council this week.
“As you can see, the poured place surface is in. The engineered wood fibers are laid down, and they are doing some more finishing touches. It looked like they were doing some grating with some black dirt and they’ll be putting down a mulch blanket, calling for that June 9th or 10th.”
Kids’ Corner Park has been closed for the work this year. A ribbon cutting is set for next Friday, June 16th. The play structure has been completely rebuilt.
