Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb is a fan favorite for all his work on the football field.
And now, he’s doing something special off the field — launching his very own breakfast cereal called Chubb Crunch, which will be used to raise money for charity.
Nick promises that Chubb Crunch will be delicious, as it’s compared to Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
And, proceeds from sales of the cereal are going to the non-profit group First Candle, which is focused on making progress on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and helping families who have been affected by it.
Nick says it’s always been a dream to have his own cereal — and is especially thankful that his efforts will result in helping out a good cause. (Browns Nation)

Details have gelled for Saturday’s funeral service for Prince Philip.
Queen Elizabeth made “tough decisions” to ease tensions and accommodate the only 30 family members allowed at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Buckingham Palace said the Royals “will not be drawn into perception of drama.”
However, brothers Prince William and Prince Harry will not walk side-by-side in the funeral procession. A cousin will be the buffer between the boys, who have rarely spoken since Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Queen Elizabeth’s four children and spouses will be in attendance as well as their eight grandchildren and spouses. Coverage in North America begins Saturday at 10 a.m. (Vanity Fair)

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez decided a week ago to end their engagement. TMZ reports that she still possesses the $1.8 million engagement ring.
A source very close to J-Lo told People magazine, (quote) “They spent time together in the Dominican Republic last week and decided that it’s best to go separate ways. The split is very amicable.”
Between breaking up and the formal announcement, J-Lo took off her ring and flaunted her naked left-hand. A-Rod announced his partial ownership of NBA and WNBA teams in Minnesota — the Timberwolves and Lynx. Going it alone raised eyebrows because last year A-Rod with J-Lo attempted to purchase the New York Mets. (People)

Jordan told the mourners with some levity, (quote) “It may be a surprise to people that Kobe and I were very close friends. He was like a little brother. I wanted to be the best big brother. TODAY IS:
Wear Your Pajamas to Work Day: Well, that shouldn’t be hard for a lot of us.

If there’s anything the pandemic has taught us, it’s to appreciate the simple things in life … A new survey asked people to name their favorite simple pleasures. The number one thing? Listening to their favorite songs. Here are some other favorite simple pleasures, according to the survey: a nice dinner, watching a favorite movie, exercising, cooking a great meal, having a great meal cooked for you, going to the beach, finishing a good book, sleeping in, taking a long walk or hike. (SWNS)

Speaking of listening to your favorite songs … An Australian study found that waking up to your favorite music helps you feel less groggy. It also makes you sharper first thing in the morning. Think of it as musical caffeine.

Good news, Pinot lovers … Pinot Noir may be the healthiest wine to drink. That’s because it has higher levels of the antioxidant resveratrol than other types of wine. (Martha Stewart)

Recently, researchers at the University of California, Berkeley, figured out that there were about 2.5 billion Tyrannosaurus rex dinosaurs roaming the planet. Now, they weren’t all running around at the same time. Instead, there were — supposedly — about 20,000 of them at any given time … over the course of a couple million years or so. If these researchers are right, the T-Rex hung around for 127,000 generations. The researchers figured all this out, despite the fact that only about 100 T-Rex fossils have actually been discovered around the world. (Mercury News)

And, a burger chain in California is looking for people who love burgers and tattoos — so they can turn them into human billboards. Farmer Boys, which has 90 locations in California, Arizona, and Nevada, is celebrating its 40th anniversary by offering people free burgers for a year if they get the restaurant chain’s name and a burger tattooed on their body. They’re partnering with a tattoo shop in West Hollywood, which is offering three different two-by-two-inch designs.

It’s been 25 years since No Doubt released the worldwide smash “Don’t Speak,” but the song’s deep emotion still rings true for Gwen Stefani.
Gwen tells Variety the song was inspired by two big losses — her brother Eric leaving the band and bassist Tony Kanal breaking up with her after years of dating. She says, “Tony was my first real boyfriend and I was tragically obsessed with him. When my brother quit the band and then Tony quit me…it was a really hard time. I lived at home until I was 26, I was quite sheltered and innocent, you know, I just was.”
But as things changed in her professional life, Gwen’s personal life wasn’t as great as it seemed. “Once the song came out, it went from a nine-year hobby that was our passion while we went to college, to all of a sudden it’s like we do the ‘Just a Girl’ video, we go from that video set to the airport and go on tour and don’t come home for two and a half years. It was a huge thing to be there with your ex who you love still who doesn’t want to be with you.”

Maroon 5’s Adam Levine tells Billboard magazine that he doesn’t know what genre the band fits into anymore. “The band’s sound has drifted all over the musical map, weaving through an array of musical genres. I don’t even know what the [heck] Maroon 5 are anymore. We occupy a weird space, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.”

Stevie Nicks tells Rolling Stone magazine that she considers Harry Styles her son. “When Harry came into our lives, I said, ‘This is the son I never had.’ So I adopted him. I love Harry, and I’m so happy Harry made a rock-and-roll record — he could have made a pop record and that would have been the easy way for him.”

Taylor Swift is famous for her gift-giving skills, which she showed off by sending a care package and personalized note to a fan who works as a nurse.

As she started selling cheesecakes, money rolled in. Keena and her dad brainstormed ways to use that money — and decided to donate some of it to charity.
So now, $5 from the sale of each cheesecake goes to a program in her school district that helps kids in need afford school lunches. Keena recently presented a check for $1000 to the school board to help out.
And, her work isn’t done. Keena says she’s going to continue to make and sell cheesecakes as long as people want to buy them. (WKOW-TV)

A source says, “Angie applauds people who stand up for themselves, and she thought it was so brave of Meghan to go on air instead of suffering in silence. So what should we expect? “Angie plans on going into detail about their roller-coaster romance and the hell Brad’s snooty Hollywood friends put her through. Angie feels emboldened and wants fans to hear her side of the story.”

According to an MSN poll, most of us haven’t kept in touch with friends from our earlier childhood. Tuesday night, Taylor Swift appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. By the end of their eight-minute chat, fans were convinced she dropped several Easter egg hints that 1989 will be the next re-recorded album.
First off, Taylor chose to be in her recording studio for the video conference interview. Just to make it clear where she spends her days. A few hardcore Swifties played with clues they detected to predict Taylor will release the 1989 album on Friday June 4 and a single on May 14. Though, more likely the date could be Thursday evening, May 13 – Stephen Colbert’s birthday.
The most obvious hint had to be when Taylor told Stephen to “Shake It Off.” She also mentioned “New York,” which had people thinking it referred to the first track on the 1989 album, “Welcome to New York.” (Entertainment Weekly)

Demi Lovato will return to TV starring in an NBC sitcom.

Now that she’s hit 40, X-Tina believes she’s really hit her stride. “As you age, you stop comparing yourself to other people and start appreciating your body and owning it. With age, you figure out that life is too short to waste time thinking about what other people think about you.”

CBS daytime show, The Talk, returned on Monday. This was the first show in one month. Production went on hiatus while CBS investigated Sharon Osbourne. They parted ways with Sharon getting a $10 million golden parachute.
Sheryl Underwood addressed the elephant in the room, (quote) “We need to process the events, so we can get to the healing. By the end of the hour, we want everyone to feel ready to move forward.”
Underwood confirmed Sharon’s account that her apologetic texts went unanswered. She told The Talk audience that she declined to respond because of the ongoing CBS investigation. Sheryl added, (quote) “If Sharon greeted me warmly, I would give her that in the same. I want people to understand when you’re friends, you stay friends.”
Co-host Elaine Welteroth said, (quote) “There have been a lot of false narratives spun in the media that frame both Sheryl and myself as co-conspirators in attacking Sharon. That is absolutely categorically false and unfair.”
During the discussion with a trauma specialist, Underwood confessed, (quote) “I feel like I’ve been in PTSD. I really wanted to get back to work with my friends and my colleagues and the crew.” (Entertainment Tonight)

The disgraced movie producer wants to remain in a New York prison and is fighting extradition on “humanitarian grounds.” His lawyer Norman Effman says that he’s basically blind and has lost four teeth behind bars. Last year’s edition of American Idol was really weird, thanks to the COVID pandemic — in fact, it was so weird that producers are bringing back the finalists for another shot this year.

If you own a dog and have come home to your pup smelling like another dog, chances are your furry friend will give you the cold shoulder out of jealousy. Think dogs can’t get jealous? Think again. A new study found that dogs don’t just get jealous when they are around a rival for their favorite person’s attention, they can actually dream up scenarios that make them feel jealousy even if it’s not happening in front of them. The research is significant because jealousy as an emotion is linked to being “self-aware,” something most people think distinguishes humans from animals. It might be time to stop joking around about your dog “thinking” he’s human because, as most owners already know, dogs might actually be smarter than we are — and science is finally catching on.

Lilly’s mother Trish offered insight into Lilly’s motivation by saying that Lilly “does not like somebody telling her something is not possible.”
Lilly and her parents made it all possible by making cookie deliveries before and after school — and even setting up a booth outside their home.

Prince Harry is in England for Prince Philip‘s funeral, but he’s without his wife.

Nick Cannon is expecting another set of twins.
Nick and Mariah Carey famously had Moroccan and Monroe in April 2011. Now he and DJ Abby De La Rosa are expecting twins. She says, “I know the Lord has destined me and prepared me for the gift of not one but two little angels… I pray that God gives you both the strength to walk brave and boldly in your individual truth just like your Daddy.
Nick is going to have some pretty hefty diaper bills. His ex-girlfriend Brittany Bell gave birth to their daughter Powerful Queen Cannon this past December. (People)

Some people in the Dominican Republic aren’t too happy to have Vin Diesel as a neighbor.
They accuse Vin’s security detail of being overly aggressive. One fed-up neighbor wrote him a letter that reads, “For a few weeks I have personally witnessed and heard from fellow homeowners the unprecedented and abusive display of your security people around our homes and beach. Interrogating us, blocking our street with five or six SUVs. Stopping residents while walking when you ride your bicycle.”
But a source close to Vin says he’s been vacationing there for 20 years and gotten along with everyone. The source says he even handed out Easter baskets to people in the area, and that the only reason for the heavy security during the bike-riding incident was that his whole family was there. (TMZ)

Coffee Talk from Honor Credit Union – Monday, April 12

Today is National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day. According to a survey in honor of the holiday, 87% of Americans say they like grilled cheese. The top five cheeses we want in our sandwiches are:  Cheddar . . . American . . . Swiss . . . provolone . . . and pepper jack. And finally, grilled cheeses are our SECOND favorite melted cheese food.  Pizza came in first . . . grilled cheese and mac and cheese tied for second . . . and cheeseburgers came in fourth.  That’s some incredibly stiff competition.

Did you let yourself go during the pandemic? A new survey found that 46% said they were definitely not the best version of themselves over the last year. Of those, 60% said they gained weight, 53% said they ate unhealthy foods, 49% said they drank too much, 49% said they lost touch with family and friends, 46% said they stopped wearing makeup or shaving, 43% said they stopped grooming themselves on a daily basis, and 38% started smoking again.
Maybe that’s why the same survey found that 68% said they plan to improve themselves (both mentally and physically) when the pandemic finally ends.

Do you and your partner sleep in separate beds? YouGov poll found that while 66% said sleeping in the same bed with their significant other was the ideal situation, 7% said that if it didn’t affect their relationship, they would rather sleep in their own bed in the same room, while 9% said their ideal sleeping situation would be sleeping in their own bed in a separate room. Women were more likely than men to say they wanted to sleep in their own beds, but this may be why: a previous YouGov poll found that 56% of women said they did not get enough sleep at night compared to 48% of men.

Do you sit down and eat dinner at night as a family? Do you do it without phones? A new study out of Spain has found that sitting around the dinner table without phones could prevent childhood obesity. Why? Conversation and slower eating help you realize when you’re full. Basically, eating in front of a screen leads to mindless eating and over-eating.

We’re finally getting the inside story behind Janet Jackson’s 2004 Super Bowl “wardrobe malfunction.”
The stylist who put together the outfits for Miss Jackson and Justin Timberlake is telling all as he prepares to put out a new book full of show biz stories. Scot Lukas said that JT “insisted on doing something bigger than their performance. He wanted a reveal.”
He says the original plan was for Jackson to rock a pearl G-string which would be exposed after Timberlake stepped on her dress. Lukas says of the famous moment seen around the world, “I wouldn’t call it a wardrobe ‘malfunction’ in a million years. It was the most functioning wardrobe in history. As a stylist, it did what it was intended to do.”
He also revealed that there is apparently no bad blood between the two performers over what happened. He told Page Six, “Janet has already forgiven Justin in private. They made their peace a long time ago.”

Black Eyed Peas found Will.I.Am is doing more than making music – he’s making smart masks. The rapper teamed up with Honeywell and a Hollywood design studio to create high-tech face masks that have built-in, noise-cancelling headphones, HEPA filters, a charging port, and L-E-D lights. The futuristic face masks come in two color combos and are now selling for $299 dollars.
