The trespassing stalker on Katy Perry’s property has been issued a restraining order. For the next three years, William Terry must stay 100 yards away from Katy.
Last month, shortly after Katy gave birth to a daughter, William Terry appeared at her Beverly Hills home. He jumped the fence but got confronted by Katy’s personal security.
Terry tweeted several threats against the family. He wished to “snap Orlando Bloom’s neck.” He then tweeted a curse against Orlando’s son to catch “catch COVID and die.” The restraining order includes Katy’s extended family as well as her tour stops. (TMZ)

Britney Spears‘ lawyer made a bizarre declaration in court on Wednesday, defending her by comparing her to someone in a coma.
TMZ reports that attorney Sam Ingham said he had the right to sign a statement saying Brit never wants to perform again because she “lacks the mental capacity” to do it herself. The lawyers and the judge entered a lengthy discussion about Britney’s abilities, but couldn’t come to a decision, so the judge put the matter over to another day.
Earlier in the week, Britney’s former lawyer seemed to confirm fears about her mental state, saying she would likely be under the care of a conservator “for the rest of her life.”

Mariah Carey has scaled plenty of charts in her lifetime, but she’s just climbed to the top of a very special one — The New York Times best seller list for hard-cover books.
The Meaning of Mariah Carey hit the peak this week, knocking journalist Bob Woodward‘s controversial Donald Trump book, Rage, out of the top spot. Mimi thanked fans for their support in a tweet, saying “It almost makes it tolerable to have lived through these experiences! LOL”

The ratings are in for Ellen DeGeneres‘s premiere week — and they’re not good.
The talk show saw a nearly 40 percent drop from last year, suggesting her toxic workplace scandal has lost the comedian hundreds of thousands of fans.
According to Nielsen, the show averaged 1.66 million viewers for the week of September 21st, when she finally spoke about the controversy on air, down from 2.67 million for the opening week of September 9th, 2019.

Chris Evans is showing more skin on Instagram lately.  In case you’ve forgotten, a few weeks ago, Chris accidentally posted a pic of his junk in an Instagram story.
This time Captain America went shirtless — intentionally — in a video of himself doing a backflip into his pool. The actor wrote, “Last swim before the pool hibernates … (It was freezing!). I wonder what it’s like to be tan.”
Fans didn’t seem to care about the backflip. Their attention was on his tattoos.
One person tweeted, “Okay but I didn’t know Chris Evans had so many tattoos?”

Suzanne Somers is recovering after falling down the stairs at her home.
The 73-year-old actress, who also recently fractured her hip, underwent successful neck surgery, Page Six reports.
On Instagram, Suzanne explains, “I had an intense amount of pain after the fall that was not resolving – even after having tequila! After several scans, it was determined I had 2 vertebrae out of place which was causing pressure on nerves and creating that tremendous pain.”
The Three’s Company star said she’s doing well but she’ll need more time “to recover before I can join you again at the bar for our virtual cocktail parties.”
Somers and her husband, Alan Hamel, regularly have Facebook Live gatherings at their home bar, “Big Al’s.”

Has COVID made daters more concerned with personality than looks? According to Match.com’s new Singles in America survey, coronavirus has caused a dating “renaissance,” with people being a lot more sincere when it comes to dating, spending more time getting to know someone, focusing less on appearance, and looking for something more meaningful than casual:
  • 63% said they spend more time getting to know potential partners.
  • 69% said they are more honest with potential partners.
  • 59% said they are considering a wider range of people as potential partners.
  • 61% of Gen Z daters and 49% of Millennials said they are focusing less on physical attraction.
  • 50% of Gen Z singles said they are having more meaningful conversations with potential dates before meeting in person.

Moms dropping out of work force … Many people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, but another under-reported consequence is the number of parents – particularly women – who have had to quit their jobs in order to stay home with their kids. A new report from the Labor Department has revealed that women between the ages of 25 and 54 are dropping out of the job market at the highest rate since the peak of the pandemic. The reason? With many schools and daycare centers still closed, women with young kids have had to leave their jobs to stay home with their kids – and, in many cases, home school their kids. (NY Post)

If your iPhone recently updated to the newest system software and you’re starting to see little dots on the screen, don’t worry, it’s normal, and probably very helpful. The Sun says Apple’s latest iPhone update adds a warning dot that alerts users whenever their microphone or camera has been activated. The feature is intended to help people know if they are being hacked. The dot turns green when the camera is being used and orange when the microphone is live.
A spokesman for Apple says, “Privacy is a fundamental human right and at the core of everything we do.”

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas … Good news: If you want/need to tune out the pandemic and politics, holiday movies are coming — and soon. Meghan Trainor is off the dance floor and onto the mommy track — with her first baby on the way.
The singer and her actor hubby Daryl Sabara broke the news Wednesday morning on the Today show. Meghan told viewers, “We’re so excited we couldn’t sleep. We’ve been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I’ve told Hoda [Kotb] since I was 19, going to the Today show, ‘I will have the most babies in the world.'”
Meghan also has another delivery on the way — her first holiday album, A Very Trainor Christmas, will drop on October 30th.

Harry Styles is taking a big run at Hollywood stardom, but he won’t be shaking or stirring James Bond fans.
With Daniel Craig ending his run as the super-spy, insiders started speculating about who’ll wear Bond’s tux next — and British bookies started taking action on Harry. In the past couple of weeks, odds on the singer earning the nod went from 100-to-1 to 25-to-1 — but a rep tells the Daily Mail reports of Harry taking on the role are “not remotely true.”
One “insider” remains confident, though, telling the paper, ‘Harry is deadly serious. He has had a series of high-level meetings about becoming 007. [He’s] is a new age British man. He’s confident in his own skin and making him Bond would signal the franchise changing with the times.”

Madonna says she never reads her own press stories, but she sure does read her horoscope — as she proved by walking away from a collaborator because of his sign.
David Guetta, who’s worked with some of today’s biggest pop names,  tells YouTubers McFly and Carlito, “I did a remix for Madonna  — [‘Revolver’ in 2009] — and I won a Grammy for the remix. She calls me afterwards… She tells me that she loves this remix and she suggests that I produce her next album. I arrive for lunch. We talk about everything, the music, what she wants to do with the album. Super nice. It’s just her and me. Very relaxed, very cool.”
But things quickly took a turn. “She asks me for my astrological sign. I answer her Scorpio. Suddenly, she makes a face and she says to me, ‘I’m sorry, we’re not going to be able to work together. It was a pleasure to know you. Goodbye.”

Eddie Van Halen, one of rock’s greatest guitarists, died yesterday from a variety of cancer-related causes. He was 65.
His son Wolfgang announced his death on Twitter last night.
He’ll be remembered for his fiery performances and unique personal style on the instrument and as a music innovator. He pioneered two-hand finger tapping and harmonics on the guitar and held three patents for musical inventions.
Eddie played on two chart-topping singles during his lifetime — Michael Jackson‘s “Beat It” in 1983 and Van Halen‘s “Jump” in 1984. However, he topped the rock radio airplay chart 13 times with Van Halen, whose place in the pantheon of classic rock bands is assured.
Over on Twitter, Valerie Bertinelli has posted a loving tribute to her ex-husband, Eddie Van Halen.
Valerie, who shared a son, Wolfgang, with the guitarist, called him “my love” and said she was grateful to have been with him in his last moments.
According to TMZ,  Eddie died at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica. His wife Janie was by his side, along with his son, Valerie, and Eddie’s brother Alex.... [Read Full Story]

If Justin Timberlake had listened to his record label, he never would’ve brought “sexy back.”
In a new Apple Music interview, Justin looks back at his career and recalls that the “experts” said “SexyBack” was destined to bomb. He says, “When I brought the album in, I said, ‘This is the first single. Everybody told me I was crazy. They’re like, ‘It’s too fast.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ Like, ‘It doesn’t sound like you.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ They’re like, ‘It doesn’t have your falsetto.’ I’m like, ‘OK.’ And I say, ‘Every reason why you think that that’s why it’s wrong, I think it’s right.'”
For those keeping score, “SexyBack” spent seven weeks at number-one when it was released in 2006.

Britney Spears skipped the beauty routine Monday and went straight to work — doing chores around the house.
She hit Instagram to show off her “real life,” by posing next to a ladder positioned to change a light bulb somewhere in her mansion. She added a caption saying, “I can get insecure when photos are taken of me that I’m not prepared for… So I have always put so much effort into my appearance… But you know sometimes it’s nice to not try so hard and pull down your walls every now and then !!!! It takes a lot of strength to do that !!!”

Natalie Neal is a grandmother who wanted to stay in touch with her five-year-old grandson Tyrion Spann, so she programmed the Alexa unit in Tyrion’s house so he could call whenever he wanted.
It was a great idea because it allowed Tyrion to call easily — and just say hello.
But, it ended up being a life-saving move — because Tyrion’s mom, Jasmine, suffered a serious epileptic seizure — and Tyrion was able to quickly call grandma for help.
When Natalie got the call from her grandson, she quickly figured out what had happened and immediately called 911.
Tyrion managed to stay calm and open the door for first responders, who were able to care for Jasmine.
The whole adventure certainly had a big impact on Tyrion, as he now wants to be a police officer or a firefighter when he grows up.

Kim Kardashian cared for Kanye West while he recovered from COVID in February. He became infected weeks before the United States understood the severity of this coronavirus.
Kim recalled the difficulty saying, “I had my four babies and no-one else in the house to help. Kanye contracted the virus at the beginning, when nobody really knew what was going on. It was so scary. I had to go and change his sheets and help him get out of bed. Changing his sheets with gloves and a face shield.”
The next Keeping Up With the Kardashians episodes document the family’s response to the pandemic. That includes Kim wearing personal protective gear before national scientific leaders called it necessary.
Kim explained on Monday why the family voted to quit Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She said, “It’s really simple. We just need a minute to regroup. We haven’t had a break for 14 years. We just live such big lives. We have kids now and they need us.” (Grazia)

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s custody battle has been put on pause. The two were supposed to have a hearing on Monday, but it was delayed.
The actor is asking the court to give him equal time with the kids. A source tells ET, “Brad is asking for 50/50 custody to be put in place and stay in place.”
The insider says that “Angelina wants to be fair when it comes to custody. She is very structured with the children. Brad has high hopes [they can] try to make it work because of the importance of co-parenting.”
The exes had reached a custody agreement in November 2018, but that fell apart when they couldn’t agree on the private judge to adjudicate their divorce case.
The source adds that Brad has “done everything he can to avoid a court situation” but feels he has been “left with no other choice,” if he wants to be allowed more time with his children.

Millie Bobby Brown almost quit acting before making it big.
On Friday night’s episode of The Tonight Show, the Stranger Things star said she  became “very disheartened” by the acting industry after she lost a role on Game of Thrones. Millie said she “really wanted” the part on the HBO series when she auditioned.
“I got a no for that and then that’s when I was like, ‘Oh, this is really difficult,'” she told Jimmy Fallon.
She nearly quit her acting career but decided to have her “last kind of go” at a “Netflix show called Montauk,” which later became Stranger Things.
Millie said, “I auditioned and two months later they got back to us and said, ‘Hey we’d love to Skype with you’ and I Skyped with them, and the rest is history.”
She’s currently starring in the Netflix film Enola Holmes.

The James Bond film No Time to Die has been delayed again.
Producers said on Friday that the 25th installment in the franchise will now open on April 2nd, 2021.
No Time to Die was originally set to debut in April 2020 but was postponed to November. It was one of the first movies to be delayed because of the pandemic.
A day after the announcement, Regal Cinemas said they are “considering” temporarily closing all of its theaters in the U.S. and the U.K. With No Time to Die moving to next year, that leaves very few big releases set to open in the remaining months of 2020.

Women are calling for the word miscarriage to be banned … Last week, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend shared the tragic news about Baby Jack. Teigen, in her deepest agony, chose to share with the world her pain and grief after losing their son, and it started a dialogue not only normalizing the silent grief many women are mistakenly ashamed to share, but it called into question the word miscarriage and the stigma it creates — somehow blaming the mother for the loss. Women took to Twitter to share their stories and call for an end of the use of the word miscarriage — preferring pregnancy loss, instead. (Glamour)

Shawn Mendes hasn’t seen Camila Cabello in weeks, but she sure is on his mind — and in the grooves of his new Wonder album.
The Canadian cutie tells Sirius XM that he’s still very much into Camila, who served as a huge inspiration for his new music. Shawn says, “She’s doing amazing. I haven’t seen her actually in like a month and two weeks, not that I’m counting… She’s back really soon and I think it’s interesting ’cause when your girlfriend is an insanely talented, real musician who writes her own music, it’s scary to write an album around her.”
He adds that Camila was as encouraging as she was scary. “[She’d say] ‘Go, keep going, keep going.’ And she would do this thing like once a month, ‘Hey, just a reminder, this concept you’re on is incredible. It’s going to make people feel something really special. Don’t stop. Don’t stop. Don’t stop.’ And it was this force of energy that I think was really helpful.”
Wonder is set for release on December 4th.

British television executives performed a tricky operation this past week — by removing a carrot from the top off Ed Sheeran‘s head.
The veggie surgery was actually performed on a puppet version of Ed, which was to appear on a new season of Spitting Image. After seeing the lookalike Sheeran, execs thought the carrot would be offensive to Ed’s fellow gingers, so they took it out and replaced it with turnip leaves.
A source at ITV tells the Sun, “The puppeteers didn’t seem too happy about the changes.  But it’s a fine line when you’re making comedy. It’s one thing poking fun at the rich and powerful but it’s another insulting some viewers.”.
