Have things gotten boring in the bedroom? It might be time to repaint. A survey by Travelodge found that people who painted their room a caramel color had more sex – three times a week on average. And if you thought painting your room red would equate to more passion … yeah, not so much. People who slept in red bedrooms did it just once a week on average.

Let’s face it — no one enjoys wearing masks. It makes our faces hot, fogs up our glasses, and forces us to smell our own breath. But help is on the way … thanks to Hormel. As Hormel says, “Don’t just eat bacon. Inhale it.”

She tells Nashville’s River 107.5 that the comeback set, now titled She Is Miley Cyrus, is completely wrapped up. Miley says, “I actually listened to a bunch of it in my car today and everything is so sounding so wicked. And one of the things I love about it is the diversity of sound that it does have, just like the  Backyard Sessions that I’m going to do with the covers. It really just tells a story and I feel like the is sonically me. If it could take a physical form, it would paint a picture of myself. So, the influences range from Dolly [Parton] to Stevie [Nicks], to Joan [Jett], to [Chris] Cornell.”
In addition to looking forward, Smiley is doing a little looking back — to her Hannah Montana days. She says, “At some point, I’m definitely getting the wig out of storage.”

If you’re working from home, have you found that it’s now harder to relax at home? A new survey found that 25% of respondents say that when their home became their office, they had a harder time separating their work life from their home life, making it more difficult to just chill out. (SWNS)

Taylor Swift‘s generosity knows no boundaries — as she’s proven with a hefty gift to a needy college student in England.
Vitoria Mario, who moved from the troubled African nation of Angola as a child, got a scholarship to study mathematics at the University of Warwick. But that grant only covered tuition, leaving a gap of nearly $30,000 in room, board and supplies — which Tay quietly covered. Vitoria tells the Coventry Telegraph, “I just feel grateful to her and for everything she’s done because, to be honest, if it wasn’t for her I might not even have made it here. To finally be here is a dream come true.”
The 18-year-old went on to say that she didn’t face any backlash from fellow students, explaining “People have said they are proud of me and they are happy that I have made it. It happened a lot in the first week, but it’s calmed down now.”

Ed Sheeran‘s putting down roots in his tiny rural hometown — literally.
According to Britain’s Sun, he’s been planting hundreds of trees on the estate he’s developed in Framlingham, England. A source in the area tells the paper, “He’s spent tens of thousands of pounds on the project — and Cherry‘s involved too as she’s into re-wilding and sustainability. A huge field [around] his outdoor wildlife pond will become a dense wood in a few years and he’s planted trees six-deep around the perimeter to afford him privacy. It’ll help reduce the carbon footprint of him being a touring rock star too.
Ed has previously built a pub, greenhouses, an underground cinema, a gym, a recording studio and an area for goats, sheep and chickens on the estate.

Long before Katy Perry “kissed a girl” in her first hit, she was singing a far more spiritual tune — and fans can finally hear that, now that she’s allowed streaming of her Christian pop debut.
Issued under her real name, Katy Hudson came out  back in 2001 and sank without a trace…but it’s resurfaced on Amazon Music. Katy, who was 16 at the time, mixed innocent love songs with full-on worship tunes like “Faith Won’t Fail.”

He’s been recovering at his Malibu home, but over the weekend there were conflicting reports as to whether he’s bedridden or “doing over 10,000 steps a day.”
However, just last week Simon appeared healthy and mobile as he celebrated his 61st birthday with ex-girlfriend Terri Seymour, who shared video of the party on her Instagram stories.
Still, Simon has more recovering to do as he was unable to lean over the table to blow out the candles.

This is interesting … study by Syracuse University found that when more women are in executive levels at corporations, those corporations tend to have employees who behave better. For example — the researchers found that NFL teams with more female execs saw a drop in the number of player arrests. And NFL teams with a “critical mass” of women (two or more) in executive positions had a 21% decrease in criminal incidents. And it’s not just the NFL or sports teams — it’s all corporations and organizations. The researchers say their findings also have implications for organizations beyond those employing professional sport players, particularly visible organizations with high-profile employees, such as media and entertainment companies; and public-facing entities such as courts, schools, and government entities.

And another case for hiring more women … A Harvard study found that women are better doctors.  According to the study, patients in the hospital who receive care from a female doctor are less likely to die and are also less likely to be hospitalized again, than if they were seen by a male doctor.

Harvey Weinstein has been accused of rape once again. This time an unidentified woman says the mogul assaulted her during one of the the 2000 presidential debates.
In a lawsuit obtained by Page Six, the woman claims Weinstein “lured” her to his New York City home “on a pretense of watching the 2000 presidential debate together.”
Instead, she claims, he “forcibly raped her.” According to court papers, “The sheer size and mass of Weinstein prevented plaintiff from being able to escape his clutches, but once he backed up, she broke free, sprinted for the door, and never saw Weinstein again.”
The court papers say that since the alleged incident, the woman has endured “severe emotional distress” and “her career was derailed and she all but stopped acting.”
Weinstein is serving a 23-year prison sentence in New York. He also faces sexual assault charges in Los Angeles.

A Texas woman is suing Brad Pitt for $100,000, claiming he romanced her and then stole her money.

Kelli goes even further, saying she got close with Brad and they even had “discussions of marriage.”
Brad’s legal team has filed a motion to dismiss the case, saying he never had any dealings with Christina.
Kelli, however, still believes she was dealing with the real Brad Pitt and insists she’ll continue to fight. She tells Page Six, “We have been litigating since March 2020 and I am pushing back on media. This lawsuit is important for the country so I will continue to fight Brad Pitt and Make It Right Foundation. I have 113 pages of organized discovery to support the charges and allegations. I wouldn’t expect this lawsuit to go away easily.”

One person tweeted, “Okay but I didn’t know Chris Evans had so many tattoos?”

Suzanne Somers is recovering after falling down the stairs at her home.
The 73-year-old actress, who also recently fractured her hip, underwent successful neck surgery, Page Six reports.
On Instagram, Suzanne explains, “I had an intense amount of pain after the fall that was not resolving – even after having tequila! After several scans, it was determined I had 2 vertebrae out of place which was causing pressure on nerves and creating that tremendous pain.”
The Three’s Company star said she’s doing well but she’ll need more time “to recover before I can join you again at the bar for our virtual cocktail parties.”
Somers and her husband, Alan Hamel, regularly have Facebook Live gatherings at their home bar, “Big Al’s.”

Has COVID made daters more concerned with personality than looks? According to Match.com’s new Singles in America survey, coronavirus has caused a dating “renaissance,” with people being a lot more sincere when it comes to dating, spending more time getting to know someone, focusing less on appearance, and looking for something more meaningful than casual:
  • 63% said they spend more time getting to know potential partners.
  • 69% said they are more honest with potential partners.
  • 59% said they are considering a wider range of people as potential partners.
  • 61% of Gen Z daters and 49% of Millennials said they are focusing less on physical attraction.
  • 50% of Gen Z singles said they are having more meaningful conversations with potential dates before meeting in person.
  • 58% said they have shifted toward more “intentional dating”

Moms dropping out of work force … Many people have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, but another under-reported consequence is the number of parents – particularly women – who have had to quit their jobs in order to stay home with their kids. A new report from the Labor Department has revealed that women between the ages of 25 and 54 are dropping out of the job market at the highest rate since the peak of the pandemic. The reason? With many schools and daycare centers still closed, women with young kids have had to leave their jobs to stay home with their kids – and, in many cases, home school their kids. (NY Post)

If your iPhone recently updated to the newest system software and you’re starting to see little dots on the screen, don’t worry, it’s normal, and probably very helpful. The Sun says Apple’s latest iPhone update adds a warning dot that alerts users whenever their microphone or camera has been activated. The feature is intended to help people know if they are being hacked. The dot turns green when the camera is being used and orange when the microphone is live.
A spokesman for Apple says, “Privacy is a fundamental human right and at the core of everything we do.”

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas … Good news: If you want/need to tune out the pandemic and politics, holiday movies are coming — and soon.
