’30 Rock’ Returning For One-Night Only Scripted Special On NBC

30 Rock cast members Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Tracy Morgan, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer will reunite for a scripted special. The 30 Rock reunion will be part of an upcoming hour-long, commercia-free special from NBC airing on July 16th at 8:00 p.m. local time. It will also be available live via Hulu.

30 Rock wrapped its seven-season run in January 2013 after 138 episodes. Former Teen Mom 2 star David Eason, the husband of Jenelle Evans, was arrested over the weekend for assault with a deadly weapon and sending threats. Eason was booked at Columbus County Detention Center and was released on an unsecured bond. His next court hearing is set for July 6. Evans said she planned to file a restraining order against Eason. Eason was arrested after a fight allegedly broke out between himself and Evans’ friends, and Eason allegedly hit one of the men with a pistol, causing injuries to his back and neck. Rihanna, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Meek Mill, the Jonas Brothers and many more are joining the call for reform of policing in New York. The artists signed an open letter asking New York legislators to repeal section 50-A of New York State’s Civil Rights Law. TV Show COPS Canceled After 32 Seasons

Paramount Network has cancelled the long-running reality police TV series COPS, in light of George Floyd’s murder and the ensuing nationwide protests over police brutality.
The 33rd season of Cops had been set to premiere on Monday, but the episode was pulled by Paramount. In a statement, the network said there are no “current or future plans” for new episodes of the series.

Music, TV, And Film Production In California Can Resume On June 12th

After months of shutdowns throughout the entertainment industry, California Governor Gavin Newsom has announced guidelines to resume music, film, and television production in California.  Work can begin again on June 12th, as the state transitions into Stage 3 of its coronavirus recovery plan.
