Today is National Honesty Day.  And we’re gonna celebrate it the right way:  With a survey where clearly a ton of people lied.  The survey asked people how often they tell lies. And the top answer is . . . NEVER.  27% of people say they never lie.  That is a lie. 18% of people say they lie once a year or less.  That’s also a lie.  And another 18% say they lie a couple of times a month. On the other end of things, 6% of people say they tell around one lie a day, and 6% say they tell a bunch of lies every day. The survey also found 3% of people say they’re compulsive liars.
Listen up smokers, you’re about to have one less option. The feds made it official…moving to ban menthol cigarettes today. They’re also planning to scrap flavored cigars. They’re trying to make smoking less appealing to kids – besides, the stuff in menthols is basically poison. Shelves won’t be empty for a while; the rule change could take years to kick in.
It’s amazing most of us go half our life stressing about this stuff:  Someone asked 2,000 people aged 55 and up when they finally stopped worrying about what other people think of them.  And the average is 46 years old.
They also asked about work, relationships, and looks.  Here’s what people said . . .
1.  We finally feel okay about our appearance in our mid-30’s.  For men, it’s 34.  For women, 36.
2.  The average person feels settled in and okay about their relationship at 37.
3.  We don’t truly feel good about our career until we hit 40.
4.  In general, we feel comfortable in our own skin at age 42.
5.  We don’t feel like we can really speak our mind until our early-to-mid 40’s.  For men, it’s 40.  For women, 45.
6.  We finally start to relax about finances at age 50.
They also asked about life events that make your more confident.  The top five are becoming a parent . . . getting married . . . retiring . . . traveling . . . and getting your driver’s license.

Pink‘s pulling out all the stops for her upcoming live documentary by recording a brand new song that will also be the title — All I Know So Far.
The single will drop on May 7th, with the movie hitting Amazon Prime Video on May 21st. An album version of the doc, All I Know So Far: Setlist, is set for release alongside the documentary. It will come in a standard package, and a deluxe edition that includes an 80-page magazine.
Pink tweeted out the track list, which includes plenty of hits, as well as her cover of Queen‘s “Bohemian Rhapsody” and that adorable duet with daughter Willow she recorded earlier this year, “Cover Me in Sunshine.”
Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry have all been mainstays on MTV for years — and now the network plans to compile their biggest moments into a new series.
My Life on MTV, which premieres on May 22nd, will bring viewers 10 one-hour shows, each featuring two artists. The guest list is pretty varied, taking in The Jonas Brothers, U2, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus and Green Day. Episodes will draw on clips from TRL, the VMAs, Punk’d, Cribs and Yo! MTV Raps, among others. (Hollywood Reporter)
Maroon 5 hope to heat up the summer with the release of a new album, Jordi, which is set to drop on June 11th.
The set, which is currently available for pre-order, will include their Meghan Thee Stallion collaboration “Beautiful Mistakes.” The album title honors longtime manager Jordan Feldstein, who died in 2017 and was also the subject of the band’s hit, “Memories.”
They’ll hype the release by returning for an encore appearance on the American Express-sponsored Unstaged series, which streams June 4th.

In December, Leticia Gonzalez of Liberal, Kansas, had her four-year-old twin daughters, Luna and Gianella, write holiday gift lists to Santa — and then put that list on a helium balloon. Luna and Gianella let the balloon rise into the sky.
It was a windy day and Leticia thought the balloon might just get stuck in a tree. It didn’t. Instead, it was found months later by a man named Alvin Bamburg in Grand Cane, Louisiana.
Alvin was able to read the notes written by Luna and Gianella, which asked Santa for candy and toys — and a puppy.
Alvin was inspired to do something for the girls, so he found the Gonzalez family, thanks to Facebook, and bought them a puppy named Max.
He and his wife then drove all the way up from Louisiana to Kansas to give Max to Luna and Gianella in person.
Alvin was thrilled to give the gift, explaining, “If you can make just one person smile … not only will it help them, it will make you feel so much better.” (KHBQ-TV)

Caitlyn Jenner may not be the only celebrity running for governor of California.
Actor Randy Quaid said he’s “seriously considering” making a bid for the office. In a tweet, Randy wrote, “The prosecutorial corruption in California…is rampant; and I promise that if elected I will clean up the District Attorney Offices throughout the state.”
On Monday, the California secretary of state’s office announced that the recall effort to oust Governor Newsom has gotten the required number of signatures.
Randy, who starred in the National Lampoon’s Vacation movies and is the brother of Dennis Quaid, has had a number of legal problems over the past few years, including burglary and fraud.
Last week, Caitlyn announced that she will run in the recall election against Newsom.
Martin Scorsese made his TikTok debut on Tuesday, appearing in a video with his daughter Francesca Scorsese. The legendary director takes a stab at identifying various feminine items, from scrunchies to pasties. You can find him on Francesca’s TikTok. Just don’t think he’ll be starting his own anytime soon.
John Mayer is “nearing a deal” with Paramount Plus to host a talk and performance series based on the BBC’s Later With Jools Holland, Variety reports. Sources say the series will feature “performance segments as well as interviews with musicians, artists and other cultural figures in a setting designed to look like an after-hours club for musicians.”
Matt James isn’t done with Rachael Kirkconnell.
Though he split with the reality star on The Bachelor‘s “After the Final Rose” special last month over racially insensitive photos, the couple has been seen together on several occasions since.
Now Matt tells People magazine, “I’ve seen Rachael a handful of times. I’m not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it.”
Asked if Rachael has been doing the work she promised in regard to educating herself about racism, Matt said, “That’s something you could talk to her about.”
He quashed the idea that he’ll appear on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Hey, guys, it’s time to ditch the large logo t-shirt – in particular, the designer brand large logo shirt from fashion designers like Gucci and Ralph Lauren. A new study from the University of Michigan found that guys wearing those kind of shirts were perceived as more likely to cheat, less interested in long-term relationships, and less interested in becoming a parent. Small logo shirts – think that tiny polo player in the corner — had the opposite effect. Guys wearing those were seen as more trustworthy and reliable. (Best Life)
The hottest new fashion trend on TikTok is infinity jewelry. If you’ve never heard of it, getting “zapped,” as infinity jewelers call it, is basically having a necklace, bracelet, or anklet, literally welded onto you so that it has no clasp — making it impossible to take off unless you break it or cut it off. Usually the pieces are delicate, thin chains — subtle enough to be worn or layered with the rest of your jewelry. It’s definitely a cool idea to mark a significant milestone, or just because. There’s no amount of social distancing that can keep us from our one true love:  Talking about other people when they’re not around.
A new study out of Dartmouth College in New Hampshire found that about 14% of our conversations every day are gossip . . . even today, with lots of conversations happening over Zoom.  That means one out of every seven things you say is gossip.
But . . . the research found not all gossip is necessarily BAD.  Most of our gossip isn’t negative . . . it’s neutral.  And that’s because most of the time, our goal with gossip isn’t to put someone down, it’s just to bond and connect with other people.
The researchers say, quote, “By exchanging information with others, gossip is a way of forming relationships.  It involves trust and facilitates a social bond.”  (EurekAlert)

John Mayer seems to be on the verge of getting his own late night chat show, which would stream on Paramount-Plus, the CBS-affiliated streaming service.
Variety broke the story, reporting that the bandleader and Dead and Company member is in talks about a show that would be called Later and be based on the format of the long-running BBC series Later with Jools Holland. Citing “sources,” they say the show would feature performances and interviews with “musicians, artists and other cultural figures in a setting designed to look like an after-hours club for musicians.”
As for Mayer’s experience, they cite his Instagram Live show Current Mood, guest hosting The Late Late Show on CBS, following the departure of Craig Ferguson and, most recently, his TikTok videos, which have gotten upwards of 140 million views.
Katy Perry‘s stepping out with yet another shoe collection, which she’ll unveil on Amazon Live tomorrow (Thursday).
She promised to take questions from fans during the big reveal, which goes down at 2 pm ET. Selena McCartney, the lead designer of Katy’s brand, will be on hand, as will Summer House star Paige DeSorbo, who’ll show fans how to pair the kicks with cool outfits.
Katy’s probably hoping for a calmer launch compared to what her 2019 line generated — when some designs were pulled from shelves after multiple people suggested they had blackface connotations.
Justin Bieber might have really stepped in it this week — after sending fashion queen Victoria Beckham a pair of Crocs from his collection with the company.
The artist formerly known as Posh Spice of the Spice Girls seemed amused by the gift, which she unboxed in an Instagram story. Giggling, Victoria said, “A lot of people have been asking me what I’m planning on wearing after lockdown… What do we think about this suggestion from @justinbieber?! OK, this is so kind of Justin to send me some Crocs. Umm, I’ve never worn a pair of Crocs. They did make me laugh. It is the thought that counts. Thank you so much. Yeah, I’m not too sure what to say about this. But thank you!”

Back in 2016, Jessy Larios created a life-sized teddy bear costume and started running marathons in it … just for fun.
Naming the character Bearsun, Jessy has been goofing off with the costume for years. But a couple weeks ago, he was inspired to do something special with Bearsun.
Jessy — or Bearsun — started in Los Angeles and started walking north toward San Francisco, 400 miles away.
It took him two weeks to get there, sometimes dealing with road closures and sometimes dealing with steep mountain trails. Along the way, he offered hugs and put smiles on the faces of everyone he met.
Over the weekend, Bearsun finally reached San Francisco and walked across the Golden Gate Bridge.
Jessy admits he didn’t spend much time planning the trip, but wanted to raise money for charity. It was a huge success as he raised over $15,000 with a GoFundMe campaign. (KTVU-TV)

Glenn Close reveals that her viral dancing moment at Sunday’s Oscars was indeed scripted but her dance was not.
During the telecast, comedian Lil Rel Howery tested attendees about songs that may have been nominated for Oscars in the past. Glenn correctly identified Experience Unlimited‘s “Da Butt” from Spike Lee‘s 1988 film School Daze and then did the accompanying dance.
In an Instagram post, she explained that her interaction with Howery was indeed scripted. However, her decision to stand up and dance was completely spontaneous.
Glenn, who was seated with screenwriter Chris Terrio, actor Darrell Britt-Gibson and Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, explained, “I knew that Lil Rel was going to quiz me about ‘Da Butt’ and all three guys helped me run through what I was to say.” She said she “had googled ‘Da Butt’ and watched Spike’s music video so when Lil Rel asked if I could do the dance…you can actually see me think of the video.”
She added: “That part was completely spontaneous. Daniel, Darrell and Chris egged me on!!!”
If Caitlyn Jenner is going to make a serious bid for California governor, she might have to do it without the support of her family.
According to TMZ, Caitlyn’s sons are embarrassed by her decision to run and disappointed that she made the decision without talking it over first with her family. They also say she’s not qualified to run and hoped she would reconsider. Jenner’s daughter’s, Kendall and Kylie, have also said they will not be joining Caitlyn on the campaign trail, and neither will the rest of the Kardashian clan.
The Flintstones are heading back to TV.
Deadline reports that FOX has partnered with Warner Brothers for Bedrock, a sequel to the classic animated series.
Plans are to move the timeline forward about 20 years, with Fred nearing retirement age, and daughter Pebbles now beginning her professional life. Elizabeth Banks will voice Pebbles and executive produce.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a sequel to the original Flintstones. A 1990s TV movie depicted Pebbles and her forever pal Bamm Bamm Rubble marrying, and moving to “Hollyrock,” with her pursuing a show biz career.
The info we’ve seen on this revival makes no mention of Bamm Bamm or his parents, Barney and Betty.

You don’t have to tell pet owners this … A new survey found that 61% of respondents said they consider their pet to be their child. 42% of pet parents even said they got their pet as a “starter child,” to see if they’re ready for kids.
How extreme do some pet parents get? 29% said they’ve thrown their pet birthday parties, 24% said they wear matching outfits with their pet, and 21% said they watch shows with their pet. And 41% said they have actually celebrated Mother’s Day or Father’s Day with their pet.
When it comes to movie and TV show recommendations, people don’t listen to what the critics have to say. New research has found that when it comes to suggestions for what to watch, people are more likely to listen to friends, family, and even random people on social media than professional critics. Just 9% said they look to critics for suggestions on things to watch, read, or play. Instead, people looked to friends (47%), family members (44%), streaming platform algorithms (21%), and social media users (18%) for recommendations over critics.
And, in the past, if you wanted to make a plastic surgery improvement to yourself, the most common thing to change was the size of one’s breasts. However, today, according to the founder of the beauty website Violet Grey, quote, “Teeth have become the new boob job.”
What does that mean?  Really nice, shiny, white teeth are more in “fashion” than ever . . . so people are dropping big bucks to make their teeth look great. Americans spent $9 billion on “oralcare” products last year . . . and a big reason is all of the video calling where our teeth are now on full display.

A judge granted a request by Britney Spears to speak for herself in court about the “status of the conservatorship.”
For the first time, in more than two years, Britney will directly address the judge. Britney is expected to share harsh feelings toward her father. She’s spent years attempting to oust him as conservator. Though, Britney has said she’s “totally fine” under a long-standing conservatorship.
That Britney needed to ask Judge Brenda Penny for permission underscored to the #FreeBritney movement exactly how flawed this system is to keep her caged for 13 years.
On Tuesday, the judge scheduled the hearing for June 23rd. Another is set for July to negotiate “various accounting issues.” (Billboard)
On the other side of the fence, Britney can take a break from fighting with her dad, because papa Jamie has decided to start a new battle with Brit’s mom.
Lynne Spears filed an objection to Jamie’s request that his ever-increasing legal fees be paid by the conservatorship account he’s allowed to draw on. That didn’t sit well with Jamie, who fired back that Brit’s mom has “no knowledge” of what’s best for the troubled star.
Jamie’s lawyers wrote, “Despite having zero involvement in her daughter’s conservatorship until very recently, Lynne Spears is asserting claims as if she were a party directly involved in the litigation, which she is not.” The papers went on to call him “a loving, caring father who has nothing to hide, has been loyal and fiercely loving toward his daughter, sought to protect her, and manage her finances so that she can live her life the way she wants.” (Us Weekly)
This year’s Academy Awards got two thumbs up from Adele — who made a rare public appearance at a party for Best Supporting Actor winner Daniel Kaluuya.
An Instagram user known as Curly Bartender posted a bit of footage from the private event, including a clip of her scrolling through her phone and saying, “I’m the DJ, here we go!”
Curly, whoever he or she is, wrote it was “When we went from the Oscars after party to the After after party. Adele loved our Moscow Mules & we loved the dance party.”

There are countless ways to raise money for charity — and in Houston, one of those ways is to climb down a skyscraper.
The Women’s Home is a charity organization that offers services to help prevent and end homelessness in the community.
But instead of raising money with a fancy dinner or a raffle this year, the group is offering people the chance to rappel down a 250-foot building.
Anyone who raises $1,000 or more in donations can go “Over the Edge” and work their way down 26 stories, from the roof of the building to the ground.
It’s a clever and exciting way to raise money — and still maintain social distancing because everyone who takes on the challenge can do so at different times. (Houstonia)

Anthony Hopkins was just as surprised as everyone else when he won the Best Actor Oscar Sunday night.
The star, who wasn’t at the ceremony, posted a video message Monday morning. He said, “Here I am in my homeland in Wales. At 83 years of age, I did not expect to get this award, I really didn’t. I’m very grateful to the Academy.”
He brought up the late Chadwick Boseman, who was expected to win the award. “I want to pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who was taken from us far too early. I really did not expect this, so I feel very privileged and honored.”
In the caption, Hopkins also thanked The Father director Florian Zeller, his wife and family.
In a change to the schedule, the best actor award was the final trophy given out, leading many to believe the show was setting up Boseman’s win as the finale. When that didn’t happen, many people online thought the Oscars had made another La La Land – Moonlight slipup.
While many folks thought Boseman was robbed, his family is not among them. Derrick Boseman tells TMZ that he doesn’t believe his brother’s lose was a “snub because every nominated actor was excellent and deserving of the award. He says the family isn’t upset or agitated whatsoever that Chadwick’s name wasn’t called at the end of the Oscars ceremony.”
Carrie Anne Inaba will be taking a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on her “health and well-being.”
In an Instagram video, the co-host said, “We all know health is the most precious gift we have. And I need to take care of mine. I appreciate the love and support from all of you and from my family at The Talk. I hope to be back soon! Ready for action! I’m sending you all my love. And I’ll update you on my progress… talk soon.”
The move comes only one day after The Sun reported that Carrie Ann is feuding with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
Inaba’s also comes on the heels of Sharon Osbourne‘s departure following her recent on-air confrontation with Underwood.
One of Michael Jackson‘s accusers in that controversial 2019 HBO documentary has lost his latest court challenge.
Variety says the suit by Wade Robson, one of the principal figures seen in Leaving Neverland, was dismissed Monday by a California judge.
It accused two production companies owned by Jackson of failing to protect boys from the entertainer’s sexual advances. But Judge Mark A. Young ruled that the companies had no ability to control Jackson because Jackson owned them outright.
Jonathan Steinsapir, representing Jackson’s companies, accused Robson of spending “the last eight years pursuing frivolous claims in different lawsuits against Michael Jackson’s estate and companies associated with it.”
Young also dismissed a similar suit last fall by James Safechuck, the other main Jackson accuser in Leaving Neverland.
Robson’s attorney said that he would appeal the ruling.

Social media users sharing their worst tattoos is nothing new, but a new TikTok trend has users sharing their “most meaningless” tats. A mom’s response immediately went viral. The mom, whose username is @th3victorygarden had a drawing done by her 6-year-old son inked on her bicep. She found the crayon drawing — of a creature with a big mouth and a lot of teeth standing next to a palm tree — and thought it would be cute to have it tattooed on her arm. Well … it turns out the drawing was not done by her son … but by his 6-year-old friend Kevin. And it seems she didn’t find out the truth for a long time. “My son broke the news at the dinner table years later,” she said. (In the Know)
When tourism went away in Hawaii during COVID lockdowns, rental car companies had to sell off a lot of their fleet to stay afloat. Now, as people are traveling again, it seems no one can rent a car on the islands because they are either all rented out or the prices are ridiculously high because of demand. So, according to Hawaii News Now, tourists have started renting U-Haul vans, trucks, and pickups for $20 per day instead of even attempting to rent a car at a premium of between $200 and $700 a day.
Do your friends and co-workers influence your eating habits? A new study from Massachusetts General Hospital found that people tend to mirror the eating habits of those in their social circle. Basically, if you’re out to eat with friends or co-workers and they order healthy food, you do too. And if your friends are ordering a bunch of junk food, you tend to eat that instead. “We found that individuals tend to mirror the food choices of others in their social circles, which may explain one way obesity spreads through social networks,” says Douglas Levy, PhD.
Is there a person in your life who is always late? Are you that person? A new survey found that 70% of people say there is a person in their group of friends who is known for always being late – but less than 25% admitted they were that person. 47% said they have lied about the actual time they were meeting so their always-late friend would get there on time. Backstreet Boy Nick Carter gave another update on his baby that stayed extra days at the hospital due to “complications.”
On Monday, he tweeted that the child arrived home. (quote) “Baby is doing so much better. Thank you again for all your love.”
Lauren Kitt Carter gave birth one week ago at the Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas. Their baby daughter spent the weekend getting treated in the neonatal ICU. Nick and Lauren thanked the “amazing doctors, nurses, and NICU staff for taking such good care of our baby.” (Us Weekly)
Ed Sheeran seems to be ready to end his self-imposed break from the music biz — according to witnesses who say he’s been filming a new video on the streets of London.
Britain’s Sun reports that Ed was spotted wearing full vampire gear, fangs and all, with a camera crew in tow. The spy said no one recognized Sheeran in costume, but “It was obvious something big was happening, there were camera crews and security cordons set-up. Word got around fairly fast that Ed was filming – but he was cool about it, he was waving to some kids and laughing about it all, it was pretty surreal.”
Another onlooker added “At times you could hear music playing which sounded great, but it wasn’t something I’d heard before.”
Maroon 5’s Adam Levine tells Hollywood Life.com that he and his wife, Behati Prinsloo, aren’t ready to have any more children yet. “I think if I asked her to have another baby right now she’d punch me in the face because she’s not ready…we’re good. We’ve got two kids”

Gary White of Evansville, Indiana, makes the most of the free meals provided by the local Salvation Army, but it hasn’t been easy for him to get there as he must cross a busy street each day in his wheelchair.
Well, things changed for Gary earlier this week when Bob Alldredge learned about Gary’s struggles — and had a great solution for him.
Bob happened to have an electric wheelchair that wasn’t being used, so he gave it to Gary.

As expected, Nomadland was the big winner at the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday.
The drama was named Best Picture, while star Frances McDormand won Best Actress in a Leading Role and Chloé Zhao went home with Best Director. Zhao is the first woman of color to win the award, and only the second woman in the Academy’s 92-year history, after Kathryn Bigelow for 2008’s The Hurt Locker.
Anthony Hopkins, who didn’t appear at the ceremony, was named Best Actor in a Leading Role for The Father, beating out favorite Chadwick Boseman. Hopkins became the oldest Oscars acting winner at age 83.
Daniel Kaluuya went home with Best Actor in a Supporting Role for Judas and the Black Messiah and Yuh-Jung Youn was Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Minari. She’s the first Korean win in that category.
Best Original Song went to H.E.R. for “Fight for You” from Judas and the Black Messiah, while Best Original Score went to Trent Reznor, Atticus Ross and Jon Batiste for Soul.
Soul also picked up Best Animated Feature Film.
Tyler Perry received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award honor.
Regina King opened the host-less show by referring to the George Floyd trial. Last year’s Best Supporting Actress winner said, “It has been quite a year, and we’re still smack dab in the middle of it. I have to be honest: If things had gone differently this past week in Minneapolis, I might have traded in my heels for marching boots. I know many of you want to reach for your remote when you feel Hollywood is preaching to you, but as the mother of a Black son who fears for his safety, no fame or fortune changes that.”
She also explained why attendees weren’t wearing masks, saying, “We’re doing it maskless. Think of this as a movie set, with a cast of over 200 nominees. We are following all of the rigorous protocols that got us back to work safely.” Those protocols include wearing a mask when the cameras aren’t rolling, but taking them off while filming.

Got old socks you don’t wear anymore? Don’t throw them away. Apparently while 80% of people donate their old clothes, 91% simply throw away their socks. Well, Colorado-based company Smartwool wants your old socks to turn into dog beds. You can drop off your unwanted socks in collection bins at select retailers in 42 different states till May 2nd. You can also mail your socks directly to Smartwool, but you’ll need to order something and then they’ll send you a bag to mail them in. (Martha Stewart).
Is looking in the mirror your friend or your foe? While some people enjoy looking at themselves in the mirror, we would wager that the majority don’t. If you’re one of those that don’t, maybe you should start. According to a new study from Japan, seeing your face in the mirror or even in a selfie, triggers feelings of pleasure in your brain.
Has COVID made you crowd averse? Seems one of the effects of the pandemic is that people can’t deal with crowds anymore. A new survey found that more than 65% of respondents said because of the pandemic they can no longer stand being around crowds of people and will do everything to avoid crowded spaces and standing in line, especially at the airport.
Speaking of post-COVID stress … While we’re all anxious for the pandemic to be over, lots of people are also dealing with the anxiety of getting back to real life. Britney Spears and boyfriend Sam Asghari attended a wedding on Saturday. Not their own, though.
Sam played the role of Best Man in the ceremony. Britney was his plus-one at the reception. They posted pre-wedding photos. Britney wore a vibrant blue mini-dress. Sam had a black tux.
Video from the reception showed the bride and groom on the dance floor with Sam and Britney, who chose not to twirl. He wrote on Instagram with a reference to their vaccination status, (quote) “Thanks to science, we get to dance again.” (E! News)
Nick Carter offered a second update on the health of his newborn baby on Thursday night, saying the child is “not out of the woods yet.”
Lauren Kitt Carter gave birth to the couple’s third child earlier this week, and Nick shared the happy news alongside word that there were “minor complications.” In a second update, the Backstreet Boy tweeted “So everything is looking better but we’re not out of the woods yet. We have to stay in the hospital one more night. Daddy and Mommy are watching baby like a Hawk. Thank you again for all your love and support. We see you,” followed by a prayer emoji.
The couple hasn’t revealed the baby’s name or gender as of yet.

In Johannesburg, South Africa, a black Labrador named Jessie heroically rescued his friend — a Pomeranian named Chucky — from drowning in the family pool.
Security cameras were rolling and captured footage of Chucky slipping and falling in the in-ground pool. Chucky was in big trouble because there was no way for him to pull himself out of the water.
He was able to keep his head above water while Jessie looked for ways to rescue him. The video shows that Jessie wasn’t too thrilled about being close to the water herself.
But, she kept trying and trying until she was able to reach down and pull Chucky up from the pool with her teeth.
The owners, who were not home at the time, were confused why Jessie and Chucky were wet. And when they looked at the security video, it all made sense and they were relieved that Jessie was able to step up and make the rescue.
The owners also admitted it was a lesson learned, and now plan to cover the pool to make sure such a mishap doesn’t happen again. (Borneo Bulletin)

The magazine claims she is possibly interested in dating Brad Pitt. A source tells New Idea that Channing Tatum is interested in dating Jennifer. ”Tatum was pitching a new dance project to star in alongside J.Lo so he could get closer to her. They’ve crossed paths on the red carpet back when she was single and always flirted like crazy.”
The National Enquirer claims the cast of ”Friends” is allegedly worried about how their HBO Max reunion special will be received. A source tells the magazine, “There’s some serious anxiety, especially knowing they’ll be judged on their looks. Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and definitely Matthew Perry have struggled with the aging process and they’re camera shy these days for that reason. They’re worried about the format being totally unscripted because most of them have no experience in that.”

Life is slowly starting to get back to normal … but people still want to keep working from home. A brand-new survey has found that attitudes about remote work haven’t changed – even after more and more people are getting vaccinated. 65% of those surveyed said they wanted to keep working from home, even after COVID ends. 11% said they want a flexible arrangement with some days working remotely and some days at the office. Only 2% said they were looking forward to going back into an office full-time.
Why do people want to keep working from home? 49% said they still had fears about COVID-19, 46% worry that they will lose their flexibility, and 43% think it will negatively affect their work-life balance.
Another big reason people want to keep working from home is that it is saving them money. 38% say working from home is saving them more than $5,000 a year and 20% said they are saving as much as $10,000 a year. The savings are coming from things like not eating out, not buying as much gas, and not needing dry cleaning.
You’ve probably heard of Seasonal Affective Disorder. It’s when people get depressed in the winter months due to lack of sunshine. Some people who suffer from SAD even get special lights to simulate sunlight. Well, it turns out there is such a thing as reverse SAD. It’s when people get the blues because of all the sunlight. Apparently about 10% of those affected by SAD experience it during the summer months. (Health Digest)
How seriously do Italians take their gelato? This gives you an idea … Some legislators in Italy want to make it illegal to sell bad gelato. Yep, they want to fine cream makers who add air to gelato to make it a fluffier texture, or who use artificial flavors or ingredients.
