E! News says Carole Baskin and her husband are planning a new TV series where they bring animal abusers to justice. She says, “This is a chance for us to use our new platform to battle the everyday evils facing big cats and so many other animals. Working with Thinkfactory on this show will help us further our life’s mission, while bringing important stories and information to ‘cool cats and kittens’ across the country.”

Jerry Harris, who stars on the Netflix series Cheer, was arrested Thursday in Chicago on a federal child pornography charge.
According to Fox News, the 21-year-old was taken into custody “for allegedly enticing an underage boy to produce sexually explicit photos and videos of himself.”
The charge carries a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years.
This comes just days after it was revealed that the FBI executed a search warrant on his home in Naperville, Illinois.
A spokesperson for Harris tells TMZ: “We categorically dispute the claims made against Jerry Harris, which are alleged to have occurred when he was a teenager. We are confident that when the investigation is complete the true facts will be revealed.”

Lori Loughlin will serve her prison sentence at a “cushy, low-security federal prison camp,” according to Page Six.
A judge has approved the Full House star’s request to do her time in Victorville, California, which is about two hours from her home.
Page Six says that “instead of hard-core cells, the facility features open bay dormitories, two and four-person cubicles, and four-person rooms.”
Lori’s set to surrender by November 19th at the prison for her role in that college admissions scandal.
The same judge has also approved her husband Mossimo Giannulli’s request to serve his five-month sentence at the low-security federal prison in Lompoc, which is also two hours from the couple’s new mansion.
The Bureau of Prisons still has final approval of her request to stay at the prison’s low-security “camp” section.

At what age do you think workers hit career burnout? 40s? 50s? 60s? Nope. It’s a lot sooner. According to a new study, workers are most likely to experience career burnout at the age of … 32. The research found that nearly a third of workers polled said they’ve felt overwhelming stress and exhaustion at some point during their careers. The reasons? 52% of respondents said it was because they tried to do too much, 58% blamed it on a long work hours, and 39% said it was not taking enough vacation days. Other reasons: Feeling like you always have to be “on” (47%) and pressure to go above and beyond in order to keep your job (37%). (SWNS)

Are virtual weddings here to stay? Seems many wedding planners think virtual weddings will continue even after the pandemic is over. “I think virtual will become a piece of every wedding in the future, even long past this pandemic,” said Samie Roberts, co-founder wedding streaming service LoveStream. “You always have a grandparent who isn’t able to make it, or a pregnant friend, or any of those things. I think that now that there’s a way to have a virtual piece of a wedding, it will become more of the norm.” (Insider)

Jim Carrey will be taking a big role in the upcoming season of Saturday Night Live. He’ll play Joe Biden when the show returns for Season 46 on October 3rd.
Jason Sudeikis had been impersonating the former vice president, but he’s apparently been voted out.
Producer Lorne Michaels says it was Jim’s idea. In an interview with Vulture, Lorne explains, “There was some interest on his part. And then we responded, obviously, positively. But it came down to discussions about what the take was. He and Colin Jost had a bunch of talks. He and I as well. He will give the part energy and strength, and…hopefully it’s funny.”
Though Jason is out, Alec Baldwin will return as President Trump and Maya Rudolph will be back as Kamala Harris.
When the new season kicks off on October 3rd, the entire cast from last season will return to the studio.

Chris Rock wasn’t mad at Jimmy Fallon’s recently resurfaced blackface impersonation of him on Saturday Night Live 20 years ago.
Rock tells The New York Times, “Hey, man, I’m friends with Jimmy. Jimmy’s a great guy. And he didn’t mean anything.”
Jimmy’s performance resurfaced over the summer and prompted calls for The Tonight Show host to be canceled. But Chris believes the impersonation wasn’t meant to be hurtful. “A lot of people want to say intention doesn’t matter, but it does. And I don’t think Jimmy Fallon intended to hurt me. And he didn’t.”
Jimmy eventually apologized saying “there was no excuse for this.”

Paris Hilton has been pretending to be a “dumb blonde” all this time. Now she’s ready to reveal her true self.
In a new interview, the reality star says she’s been faking her trademark valley girl accent. Speaking in her natural voice, Paris tells Australia’s Sunrise breakfast show that “this entire time, I have been playing a character, so the world has never truly known who I am… The real me is someone who is actually brilliant. I’m not a dumb blonde, I’m just really good at pretending to be one.”
Paris says she doesn’t want to be “remembered for some airhead, but the businesswoman” she is.
With her just-released documentary, This Is Paris, she hopes people will see the real Paris Hilton. “I know there’s so much more to me than what they thought,” she says.

The Big Ten announced today that it will resume its football season on October 24th.
The conference initially cancelled football until the spring, but its Council of Presidents and Chancellors got together and decided to allow the league to play football this fall amid serious questions about COVID-19 testing and tracing, and concerns about myocarditis — an inflammation of the heart muscle which is believed to be a long term effect of the coronavirus.
The season will include eight games over eight weeks, with a Big Ten Championship Game scheduled for December 19th. (USA Today)

Kim Kardashian, Mark Ruffalo, Leonardo DiCaprio and other A-listers plan to “freeze” Facebook and Instagram for 24 hours to protest the spread of hate speech and misinformation on the platforms.
The protest, which will go down all day today, is part of the Stop Hate for Profit campaign being organized by the NAACP and the Anti-Defamation League, among other groups.
Kim announced the initiative by tweeting, “I love that I can connect directly with you through Instagram and Facebook, but I can’t sit by and stay silent while these platforms continue to allow the spreading of hate, propaganda and misinformation – created by groups to sow division and split America apart – only to take steps after people are killed.”
The campaign is calling for the removal of Facebook groups that promote violence and posts that promote misinformation.

Tyra Banks wasn’t a hit with diehard fans when she debuted as host of Dancing With the Stars on Monday.
Tyra replaced longtime host Tom Bergeron as well as newcomer Erin Andrews. But many viewers thought Tyra wasn’t an improvement.
One person wrote, “The problem w/ Tyra Banks as host is that you’ve replaced the heart of the show. Nothing against her, but it just sounds so off when you hear her voice instead of Tom Bergeron’s. On a year where people WANT comfort of the familiar… it’s just a really poor decision.”
Another hater tweeted, “2 minutes in and I’m already over #TyraBanks as host.”
And a third said, “Unfortunately, I didn’t think she did a very good job. In my opinion, she did a lot of posing, talked way too fast at times, interrupted the judges several times, accused the judges of ‘throwing shade’ (really?)”

However, according to USA Today the star may not be buried there. The newspaper says “the church cemetery showed no signs of Boseman’s burial, and the pastor and the local mortuary handling details of the Black Panther star’s death say he is not buried there.”
The Black Panther star passed away at his L.A. home on August 28th following a four-year battle with the disease.

If there’s one thing that 2020 has taught us, it’s to expect the unexpected. Madonna will do something unique among rock and pop artists — she plans to direct a biographical movie about herself!
After teasing the project across social media, the best-selling female recording star of all-time will collaborate with screenwriter Diablo Cody on her journey from a struggling New York performer to global superstardom.
While we’ve seen Elton John and the surviving members of Queen have considerable input on movies telling their stories, this is the first time a recording legend has led the creative team and will have the last word on the film.
Variety reports that the movie will be distributed by Universal with longtime studio executive Amy Pascal producing, along with Madonna’s business partner Guy Oseary.
Calling the project “an absolute labor of love for me,” Pascal says, “I have known Madonna since we made A League of Their Own together, and I can’t imagine anything more thrilling than collaborating with her and Diablo on bringing her true-life story to the big screen.”
It’s too early for information regarding casting, a release date or even what the movie will be called.

Britney Spears and her dad Jamie have a new battle in her conservatorship — this one over bringing back the person that used to help manage her estate.
TMZ reports that Britney filed new documents with the court saying that Andrew Wallet, who served as co-conservator of Britney’s estate from 2008 to 2019 with Jamie, is “uniquely unsuited” to manage her estate now. In the filing Britney says she’s done performing for a while and needs to make “difficult budgetary choices going forward.” And bringing Wallet back on board, who was paid nearly a half-million dollars a year for the last five years he worked for her, is just too expensive.
Jamie says that Britney’s objections are full of factual misstatements and he’s asked the court to hold a hearing to go over all the facts.

Big changes are in store for Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year, according to CBS News, “the parade won’t go down the normal 2.5 mile route from the Upper West Side. In a photo posted by Sean McEnroe, Tatum’s 32-year-old son with tennis legend John McEnroe, the father and daughter are seen together for the first time in 17 years.
Sean captioned the photo, “This is one of the most memorable photos of my life. The last time we were all together was at the 30-year Paper Moon Anniversary in 2003. I could cry tears of gratitude that everyone in this photo is still alive and that we were all able to come together again after so many years of hardship. Cover hogs can make for some sleepless nights and even problems in your relationship. Well, there’s a simple solution to those blanket battles – separate bedding. In Europe, especially Scandinavian countries, using separate bedding is very common. Basically it’s just separate comforters for each person – and a shared fitted sheet. “When I make the suggestion — maybe use separate covers so they don’t fight over the covers — they kind of look at you quizzically, like it’s such an obvious thing to suggest, but it didn’t occur to them,” sleep specialist Dr. Rafael Pelayo tells Good Housekeeping. “It’s not a routine recommendation, but if somebody is telling me that they’re having concerns about one person moving too much or they’re uncomfortable in their bed because they’re fighting over covers, I suggest, why can’t you get two blankets? It seems to make sense.”

The Salvation Army is getting an early start on its annual holiday fundraiser and volunteers with bells and red kettles will be out as early as today.

National Boss Employee Exchange Day: The day where employees do the work of the boss. Wait a minute, that already happens. Certainly there isn’t a boss coming down here to try to do a morning show…

It was a busy weekend on social media and entertainment as Mashable claims Avengers star Chris Evans accidentally posted a picture of his little Captain America on Instagram on Saturday. The picture was in a montage with others from his iPhone.

The latest trend to hit social media is sole tattoos … as in, sole-of-the-foot tattoos. These tattoos are basic block text on the bottom of the foot that read “MADE IN …” and whatever your home country is. If it sounds a little bizarre, you likely never owned a Barbie. Back in the early days, the iconic doll featured a stamp that read JAPAN on the bottom of her foot, and apparently that’s what sparked the tattoo trend. Cara Delevingne has been leading the way with sole tats on both feet. One foot reads BACON and the other says “MADE IN ENGLAND.” (Evoke)

And 11% said a person’s food order on the first date would determine if there would be a second date. More than 50% said someone liking the same foods and flavors as them made them more attractive and 17% are so passionate about food that they would refuse to date someone with different tastes … even if they were a millionaire. And 30% said food was more important to them than sex. (SWNS)

If you’re feeling extra irritable today, it may be because you didn’t get enough sleep. A new study found that getting a lousy night of sleep can make you more prone to anger the next day. We could call it “SLANGRY!”
Speaking of sleep …
According to data from the CDC, more than a third of adults in the United States regularly get less than the recommended minimum seven hours of sleep a night — despite the fact that lack of sleep has been linked to health issues like diabetes, obesity, heart disease, and depression. Research from the United Health Foundation (UHF) has found that Michigan clocks in at number six on the list with only 39% of adults sleeping less than seven hours a night. The top sleep-deprived state? Hawaii, with nearly 43% of the population getting less than 7 hours of sleep.
