Taylor Swift will made a “surprise announcement” Thursday on Good Morning America.
She’ll be releasing her re-recorded version of “Love Story” at midnight today and has re-recorded her entire Fearless album which will be coming out April 9th and will contain 26 songs including “songs from the vault” that didn’t make the original album.

Bruce Springsteen’s Super Bowl Commercial is now ‘Dancing in the Dark.’ Jeep pulled the ad following a report that ‘The Boss’ was charged with a DWI back in November. The 71-year-old singer was in his home state of New Jersey when he was pulled over. And apparently Jeep didn’t love the idea of a drunk driver being featured in their Super Bowl car commercial. They took the two-minute ad down from YouTube. But as of last night, Springsteen still had the ad up on his Twitter page.

Winters are usually quite chilly in Appleton, Wisconsin, but that hasn’t stopped Chick-fil-A employee Hoku Taniguchi from getting back and forth to work on her bike.
That all changed when her friend and co-worker Haley Bridges gave her a car.
You see, Haley won the car during a holiday party raffle back in December. She already had a car, so instead of keeping it herself, Haley offered it up as a gift.
It didn’t take long for Haley’s gesture of kindness to be repaid, as Haley’s aunt held a fundraiser to get her auto loan completely paid off.
Now, both friends have reliable transportation — and no car payments.
Haley calls her co-workers her “second family” — and was thrilled be able to help make her close friend Hoku’s life easier, especially during these winter months. (People)

First Armie Hammer was accused of being a cannibal wannabe, then a murder suspect. Now the star is accused of giving an ex-girlfriend a bruised behind.
Jessica Ciencin Henriquez posted a photo from early September on her private Instagram account. Page Six says the image shows Jessica with a large bruise on her backside — which a source claims was caused by Armie.
The photo came with a cryptic caption about not cleaning “up the messes that other people make of their lives” and “to accept the ‘truth.’ ”
This new rumor comes after the actor was accused of emotional and sexual abuse from ex-girlfriends and of sharing his fantasies of cannibalism.
This week police in San Bernardino County denied he was a suspect in a Wonder Valley murder investigation.

Buffy the Vampire star Charisma Carpenter alleges Joss Whedon “abused his power on numerous occasions” on the sets of Buffy and Angel.
In a lengthy statement posted to Twitter on Wednesday, Carpenter said that after learning she was pregnant, Whedon asked if she was “going to keep it.” She said after giving birth she was fired.
Carpenter said she came forward because of actor Ray Fisher, who alleges that Whedon engaged in “gross, abusive, unprofessional and completely unacceptable” behavior on the set of Justice League.
Carpenter’s Buffy co-stars are standing by her. Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Buffy, posted a statement on Instagram, saying, “While I am proud to have my name associated with Buffy Summers, I don’t want to be forever associated with the name Joss Whedon.”
Michelle Trachtenberg, who played Buffy’s sister, re-posted Gellar’s statement, and said that Whedon’s behavior with her “as a teenager” was “not appropriate.”

Ace Showbiz says Gina Carano has been fired from “The Mandalorian” for posting offensive social media messages.
Lucasfilm released a statement saying,  “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
Gina played Cara Dune on the Disney+ show.

HBO Content Chief Casey Bloys tells TVLine that Kim Cattrall’s absence from the ”Sex and the City” reboot is because her character is no longer friends with Carrie, Charlotte or Miranda. ”Just as in real life, people come into your life, people leave. Friendships fade, and new friendships start.”

With Valentine’s Day quickly approaching, here’s a good question: Do you believe in soulmates? Seems romance is still alive and well, because according to a new YouGov poll, 60% of the more than 15,000 Americans surveyed said they believe in soulmates. Just 23% said they don’t believe in the concept, and 18% were unsure. Women were more likely than men to believe in soulmates – 64% vs. 55%.

Would you refuse to date someone because of their zodiac sign? Seems there is a particular sign that most people stay away from. Can you guess which one? We’re looking at you, Geminis. A survey asked respondents to think about the relationships they’ve had, and to name a sign they would never date again. 46% picked Gemini. Cancer was the second “least date-able” sign with 37% choosing it, followed by Taurus (36%), Aries (34%) and Leo (31%). (SWNS)

What is the length of your relationship in dog years? If you feel like the pandemic has “aged” your relationship, you’re not alone. In fact, Groupon teamed up with a Cambridge mathematician to develop a formula to come up with the “dog years” equivalent of what a year together during the pandemic is in relationship years. Seems a year together in the pandemic is about four relationship years. (SWNS)

There’s an asteroid out there that’s supposedly the size of the Golden Gate Bridge that’s on course to zip past us around March 21st. It’s somewhere between half-a-mile and a full mile in diameter — and it’s traveling at a speed of 21 miles per second. This thing is big enough and will be close enough for NASA to classify it as “potentially hazardous.” But don’t worry. Scientists say that we shouldn’t panic because it will be 1.25 million miles away when it flies by.

Britney Spears watched the documentary Framing Britney Spears, which streams now at FX on Hulu. She’s inspired to tell her perspective in a second documentary – once she’s “freed from the vice-like grip of her father” Jamie Spears.
A court hearing in Los Angeles about the conservatorship is scheduled for tomorrow.
Britney acknowledged the support from followers and celebrities. The hashtag #FreeBritney has trended since Friday night’s debut of Framing Britney Spears. A source said, “Britney finally feels like there is light at the end of a very long, dark tunnel. She feels, for the first time in many years, that people are on her side and things will get better for her.”
Tuesday night, Britney tweeted a cryptic message to her 56 million followers, “Each person has their story and their take on other people’s stories! We all have so many different bright beautiful lives! Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person’s life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens.”
Britney tapped a woman to direct her documentary, which won’t see the light of day until after she convinces to court to fire her tyrannical father. An insider recalled, “Jamie is drunk with power over Britney’s life. This summer, he grounded her for three weeks because she dared to meet a friend for a socially-distanced walk on the beach.” (New York Post)

January was a good month for Orlene Peterson and her immense luck. She bought a scratch-off lottery ticket at a grocery store in Hayden, Idaho. That was a good choice, because it was a $200,000 winner.
She couldn’t believe it. But, her luck wasn’t done yet.
The next day she went to a different grocery store and bought another scratch-off ticket “for fun.”
Wouldn’t you know it? That ticket was a $300,000 winner.
Idaho lottery officials said the odds of winning on both tickets was about 1-in-282.5-million.
Orlene says she plans to pay off bills with her winnings, buy a new truck — and might take a trip to Las Vegas.
That sounds like a great idea, especially with the run of good luck she seems to be enjoying. (KTVB-TV)

A remake of The Wizard of Oz is in the works at New Line Cinema, according to VarietyNicole Kassell (Watchmen) will direct what the producers call a “fresh take” on the classic story.

Alex Trebek‘s wardrobe from Jeopardy! has been donated to the homeless for use during job interviews.
According to Deadline, “14 suits, 58 dress shirts, 300 neckties and various other items of clothing that once belonged” to the host has been gifted by the game show and the Trebek family to The Doe Fund, an organization that provides paid work, housing and vocational training to the homelessness.
It was Trebek’s son Matthew Trebek who suggested the clothing be given to those participating in the organization’s reentry program to be worn on job interviews.
Jeopardy! executive producer Mike Richards says, “During his last day on set, Alex extolled the virtues of everyone opening up their hands and their hearts to those who are suffering. Donating his wardrobe to those who are working to rebuild their lives is the perfect way to begin to honor that last request.”
Alex died from pancreatic cancer on November 8th.

Things are getting worse for actor Armie Hammer. Now, the internet thinks he is a murderer.
The actor has been accused of having cannibalism sex fantasies, which were first brought to light by Instagram account House of Effie.
Then on January 31st, hikers discovered human remains in San Bernardino County’s Wonder Valley. Last year, Armie worked at a construction site nearby.
Then another Instagram account, DeuxMoi, claimed that a shocking story about the actor would be published soon. Responding to that report, House of Effie said, “What he and his friends have done is worse than anything I have posted. Justice will be served.”
Internet sleuths put it all together and began spreading rumors that the star was behind the possible murder.
The rumors got so rampant that police had to shoot them down. A spokesperson for the San Bernardino County Sheriff tells The U.S. Sun, “Armie Hammer’s name hasn’t come up as a suspect at all. We have no plans to investigate him. We have not identified the remains.”
The actor was recently dropped by his agency amid his “cannibal” scandal.

Beware Valentine’s Day scams … Yep, even the day of love comes with problems. Valentine’s Day is a great time for singles to mingle, but if you’re planning to spend the night chatting with potential matches on dating apps, experts at the Better Business Bureau, say be on your guard. Valentine’s Day is also a popular time for scammers to try and steal personal information from unsuspecting singles. Your best defense is a good offense — so always reverse image search photos of potential matches to make sure you’re speaking with your actual match, and be very cautious if you take your conversation private and your potential love interest starts asking for incredibly private information or they attempt to jump from getting to know you to madly in love in the blink of an eye. If you suspect catfishing, stop all communication and be sure to flag the account with the dating site. (ABC-11)

An auction house in Culver City, California, is selling a bunch of tools used by spies from back in the 1940s and ’50s that used to be on display at the KGB Espionage Museum in New York City.

TODAY IS: National Pizza Day

OK, time for some honesty … Is Valentine’s Day a “real” holiday? According to a new YouGov poll, the majority of respondents said it wasn’t. 57% of the more than 21,000 adults surveyed said Valentine’s Day was a holiday people wouldn’t celebrate it if it wasn’t pushed by “commercial entities.” Only 28%  said Valentine’s Day was a “real” special occasion. But, hey, get this … Guys are slightly more romantic than women — with 30% saying they think Valentine’s Day is a “real” special occasion – compared to 25% of women. The genders were pretty evenly split in thinking Valentine’s Day was a commercial holiday – with 56% of men and 58% of women agreeing. But even though we know that Valentine’s Day is a day to get people to spend money on flowers, cards, chocolates and more … 57% of respondents overall also said they had a positive opinion on Valentine’s Day. That one broke down to 61% of women feeling positive about the day and 53% of men.

Speaking of Valentine’s Day … Jilted lovers who find themselves suddenly single heading into Valentine’s Day can make themselves feel a little better … by having a shelter cat poop on their ex. A post on the shelter’s Facebook page reads, “Our adoptable kitties have your back and will dump all over your ex. Cats can be spiteful creatures, and trust us, they are more than happy to take a #2 on your former #1.” The “Dumps for the Dumped” promotion ends Friday.

It looks like there will be a new Coldplay album this year.
The British tabloid The Sun had it confirmed by a source close to the band, who tells them that Chris Martin and company have been recording throughout the pandemic lockdown. The insider claims they’ve been “dropping hints” about it for a while, but that their ninth album is “finally getting off the ground.” It’s got a working title already, Music of the Spheres. That tidbit is supported by a visit to the website of Britain’s Intellectual Property Office, where you can find the band’s trademark application for it.
It will reportedly be used on “merchandise and everything they’d need for a tour,” according to the source, who adds, “It’s a really exciting time for everyone involved.”

Elton John tells NBC that he still loves making music. “I love it as much now as I did. I don’t like the fame part of it, and I don’t like the technology part of it so much. But, the thrill of the music will never die for me … when you hear somebody young, like Lorde making a record like she did, I am flabbergasted. And it makes you want to write the best song in the world, because you just cannot believe that this music has come out of someone so young, and so brilliant..”

John Mellencamp tells Time magazine that he values his alone time. “I need pretty much complete isolation just to exist. Just to be alive, to live. I prefer not to be around a lot of people. A California man had his wallet returned after losing it in Antarctica … 53 years ago.
Paul Grisham was serving in the Navy back in 1967 as a meteorologist — and spent 13 months monitoring the weather in Antarctica.
Somehow, he lost his wallet down there and — after returning home — never thought he’d see it again.
Well, workers in Antarctica demolished an old building and, behind a locker, found Paul’s wallet. It had Paul’s Navy ID, his driver’s license, a tax statement, and records of his poker winnings.
Stephen Decato, who was doing research in Antarctica, worked with his daughter Sarah Lindbergh to track down Paul, who is now 91 years old and living in San Diego, California.
Finally, about a week ago, Stephen and Sarah were able to send Paul his long-lost wallet.
Sarah described the mission and all the detective work they did to find Paul as “feel-good thing to do,” explaining that Stephen “is proud to have things in their rightful places.” (Daily Mail)

Tip of the day: Don’t put Gorilla Glue or Liquid Nails or any other adhesive on your hair … TikTok might be a treasure trove of awesome beauty tips and styling tricks, but not every person offering advice actually knows what they’re talking about. Case in point, #gorillagluegirl. Chances are you’ve seen the viral video featuring a young woman who ran out of hairspray and decided to use gorilla glue spray adhesive on her head instead. Yeah, she actually did that. Not only did it glue her hair to her head like a Ken doll, but it resulted in a trip to the emergency room. Gorilla Glue even reached out to offer suggestions, but the outlook was grim because apparently her hair had been glued to her head for a month – so treatments like rubbing alcohol combined with shampooing with warm water no longer worked. According to the brand, it’s likely she actually glued her now broken hair to her scalp! Sadly, the hospital sent her home with suggestions for removal, and the latest YouTube video had her and a friend attempting — through much pain — to try to remove the glue. We are all waiting anxiously for updates and hoping for the best, but PSA: Don’t use Gorilla Glue or any adhesive on your hair … ever. (Health)
