Corewell planning new urgent care facility in South Haven

Corewell Health is planning to open an urgent care facility in the South Haven area.

Corewell tells us the new 15,000-square foot location at 71989 County Road 388 in South Haven Township will provide the community with convenient access to urgent and specialty healthcare closer to home.

Corewell told South Haven Township Trustees last week the integrated care center facility will include space for urgent care, primary care, and specialty services like cardiology, orthopedics, urology, and ENT.

Corewell says pending the finalized land purchase agreement and site plan approvals, it hopes to begin construction later this year and open to the community in 2027.

News of the new township project comes just as the South Haven City Council this month agreed to add urgent care and expanded medical services to its list of strategic priorities for the next fiscal year.
