Alternative Acts On The Move

A busy stretch this week brings fresh tour stops, added dates, new releases, and a few clear scheduling notes for alternative listeners planning ahead.

There is a little movement across the alternative side of the dial right now, and for listeners keeping an eye on fall plans, a few of these updates are worth catching early. Some artists are actively on the road, some are pushing new music, and a few official sites make it clear that the next move has not been announced yet.

The Lumineers Bring A Grand Rapids Stop Into Focus

The Lumineers have an active North American run on the books, and Grand Rapids is part of it on October 1, 2026. Their official event merchandise lineup also points directly to that date, which is useful confirmation for listeners around West Michigan watching nearby calendar options. https://www.thelumineers.com/tour https://store.thelumineers.com/collections/event-tees

The band is also still posting clear ticket guidance around its 2026 added dates, including artist presale timing and general onsale language for select shows. For anybody planning a drive rather than a flight, that Grand Rapids stop stands out as one of the more practical regional plays in this roundup. https://www.thelumineers.com/tour

Counting Crows Keep One Upper Midwest Festival Date On The Board

Counting Crows currently show Bourbon & Beyond in Louisville on September 24, 2026 on their upcoming shows page. The same listing is marked sold out and cancelled, so the real takeaway here is not to assume an old festival mention still means a live date is happening. https://www.countingcrows.com/tour

On the band’s home page, there is also a clear push around the new single With Love, From A-Z and the album Butter Miracle (Complete Sweets). That gives listeners a current band update even while the live calendar looks thin on the official site. https://www.countingcrows.com/

Goo Goo Dolls Stay Busy With Summer Tour And Anniversary Releases

Goo Goo Dolls announced their Summer Tour 2026 back in December, with presale details, a public onsale window, and VIP package information all posted through official channels. That tour announcement is still one of the clearest current road updates tied to the band. https://www.googoodolls.com/news/summer-tour-2026-259016

Alongside the live side, the band has newer release news up now. Dizzy Up the Girl (Anniversary Edition) is available for pre-order with an October 2 release date, and Let Love In (20th Anniversary Edition) is already out, so this is one of those weeks where the catalog story matters as much as the touring story. https://www.googoodolls.com/

OneRepublic Have Los Angeles Dates Confirmed This Week

OneRepublic’s official tour page currently lists Los Angeles shows on September 10 and September 11, 2026. If you are tracking confirmed U.S. dates only, those are the clearest active listings on the band’s own site right now. https://onerepublic.com/pages/tour

The home page is also pushing the new single Pay That Toll. So even though the visible routing is short on the official site, there is still a clean combination here of active live dates and a current release cycle. https://onerepublic.com/

Imagine Dragons Show A Quiet Official Calendar For Now

Imagine Dragons’ official tour page currently says there are no upcoming events. That is the practical headline for fans checking whether a new U.S. leg has been formally posted yet. https://shop.imaginedragonsmusic.com/pages/tour

There is, however, at least one future listing visible through an official store variant tied to February 6, 2027 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Since the main official page still shows no upcoming events, the safer read is that fans should treat the calendar as very limited until the primary site fills in more detail. https://shopuk.imaginedragonsmusic.com/pages/tour?currency=GBP https://shop.imaginedragonsmusic.com/pages/tour

Coldplay Have No Dates Currently Scheduled

Coldplay’s official world tour page is unusually direct right now. It says there are no dates currently scheduled, with a prompt for fans to sign up for future show alerts. https://www.coldplay.com/tour/

For listeners hoping for a U.S. stop announcement, that means there is nothing confirmed to act on today. It is a useful note because it keeps the picture clean: no guessing, no partial routing, just a clear official hold pattern. https://www.coldplay.com/tour/

U2 Shift The Story To New Music And A High-Profile Chicago Appearance

U2 do not currently show a new active tour run on their official tour archive, but the band has been busy on the news side. In 2026 they released the standalone EP Easter Lily, followed by the single Street of Dreams on July 7, and later the Martin Garrix collaboration Fireflies on July 24. https://www.u2.com/news https://news.u2.com/

There is also a notable U.S. live-related item from June 2026, when Bono and The Edge performed at the opening of the Obama Presidential Center in Chicago. That is not a tour announcement, but it is a meaningful artist update for fans in the Midwest tracking where U2 activity has surfaced most recently. https://www.u2.com/news

Billie Eilish Turns The Tour Story Into A Concert Film Release

Billie Eilish’s current official store messaging leans less on fresh routing and more on the tour afterlife. HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D) reached the big screen on May 8, 2026, and the official rollout now includes a live vinyl release plus buy-or-rent access for the film. https://shopca.billieeilish.com/collections/new-arrivals/products/hit-me-hard-and-soft-the-tour-live-vinyl https://store.billieeilish.com/products/hit-me-hard-and-soft-the-tour-live-buy-or-rent-now

There is also a tour impact report posted through her official store, laying out the environmental and community side of that run. For listeners who saw the tour or missed it the first time, this is one of the clearer examples of an artist extending a live era beyond the arena dates themselves. https://store.billieeilish.com/pages/impact-report

Hozier’s Official Live Page Looks Between Runs

Hozier’s official site still has a live dates section in place, but the accessible current crawl does not show a fresh 2026 U.S. routing in the way some other artist pages do. His U.S. store continues to carry 2025 tour materials, which suggests the public-facing update cycle is between phases right now. https://hozier.com/live/ https://usstore.hozier.com/pages/tour

That is worth noting for fans in this region because Hozier is a name people routinely expect to see on amphitheater and festival boards. At the moment, though, the official pages are not presenting a fresh 2026 U.S. on-sale push. https://hozier.com/live/

The Head And The Heart Mark An Anniversary Without New Dates Posted

The Head And The Heart have 2026 15th anniversary merchandise and live-related products up through the official store, including Live at Neumos items and a 2026 tour collection. https://store.theheadandtheheart.com/collections/2026-15th-anniversary-tour

At the same time, the band’s official tour page currently says there are no upcoming events. So the band has an active anniversary presence, but not an active posted calendar on the official page as of now. https://store.theheadandtheheart.com/pages/tour

AJR Point To A 2026 Summer Tour Through Official Merch

AJR’s official ecosystem gives a quieter kind of update. The band’s tour page remains in place, and the official store now carries a dedicated 2026 Summer Tour collection. One item specifically describes a shirt with a full list of Summer 2026 tour dates on the back, which is strong evidence of a defined live run even when the crawlable tour page itself is light on detail. https://www.ajrbrothers.com/tour/ https://store.ajrbrothers.com/collections/2026-summer-tour https://store.ajrbrothers.com/products/the-good-part-2026-tour-t-shirt

For listeners, that is more of a watch-this-space note than a buying alert. The official merch clearly reflects tour activity, but the accessible public schedule details are not as fully surfaced as they are for some of the other acts here. https://store.ajrbrothers.com/products/the-good-part-2026-tour-t-shirt
