Nobody Tells You This About the Coast

Nobody tells you how often the Coast changes its mind.

The forecast can look solid, and still the wind shifts. The afternoon warms up, then cools quickly. A calm morning turns restless by dinner. It’s not chaos — it’s just movement.

Nobody really explains how that affects routines. Errands get done earlier. Evenings wrap sooner in winter and stretch longer in summer. People leave when it feels right, not when the clock says so.

What you learn, eventually, is that certainty matters less here than awareness. You don’t fight the conditions. You work with them. And once you do, everything feels easier — quieter, even.

It’s not written anywhere. You just absorb it, one adjusted plan at a time.
