About the Show
I’m Zack East, and if my name sounds familiar, that’s probably because Southwest Michigan has been putting up with me for a while now. I got my start at Mid-West Family as a Promotions Assistant after graduating from Ferris State University with a degree in Broadcasting, and I worked my way through just about every corner of this place — mobile DJ, digital media, morning show host, Program Director.
In the years since, I’ve stayed busy in Southwest Michigan. I helped build MoodyontheMarket.com and still serve as Awards Series Director for the Best Places to Work program. I also work as Senior Director of Organizational Sustainability for United Way of Southwest Michigan, where I’ve spent years supporting Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties — and chaired more than a few fundraising campaigns along the way.
But afternoons on The Coast? This feels like coming home. I’ll be here every weekday from 3 to 7, so let’s catch up.
