Two South Haven Area Emergency Services officers had to swim 50 yards in Lake Michigan to help a boater who was having health issues last week. The boater was then taken to Bronson South Haven Hospital to be treated. SHAES says it happened off the Oak Street beach on Thursday. It was their second water-related rescue of the week.
