Voters headed to the polls in a handful of Van Buren County communities on Tuesday.
The new mayor of South Haven will be Annie Brown. She edged out Joe Reeser in the elections.
Elected to the South Haven City Council were Letitia Wilkins, Jeff Arnold, and Mary Hosley.
In Hartford, Richard Hall was elected mayor over Ramon Beltran.
Elsewhere in Van Buren County, school bond proposals were approved in Decatur, Hartford, Lawrence, and Gobles.
A fire millage also passed in Gobles.
