The Mason Jar Cafe’s Furry Friends Friday featuring Luna!

Luna is a 3 year old female dog who just joined Paws of Hope last Sunday. She owes her unique looks to her Chihuahua lineage and a mystery mix that we suspect might include Dachshund and maybe some type of terrier such as Rat Terrier. Luna only weighs 12 pounds. We have learned that Luna enjoys going for walks, sitting by a window where she can observe nature and the neighbors, and gets along well with the cats in her foster home. We suspect that Luna will do well with most dogs, although we haven’t yet introduced to other dogs. So far, Luna has been a very quiet girl and seems to prefer to be near her foster mom, either on her lap or beside her. Luna has mild “cherry eyes” but doesn’t rub her eyes or have discharge. She was just spayed on Wednesday, is microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Please reach out to Paws of Hope at to learn more about our lovely Luna.
