Luna is a female mixed breed dog, estimated to be one year old. We believe that Luna could be a Labrador Retriever-Pit Bull Terrier mix. She was found hiding in the bushes along the River Valley bike trail. Luna was quite frightened and malnourished, but her loving and trusting personality allowed her to be easily rescued. Luna is well-mannered, playful, and loves to meet new people. She is athletic and loves to chase toys outside. Luna is also intelligent, and her natural listening skills make it easy for her to learn. She gets along well with the cats in her foster home, and has developed a special friendship with one of the cats. Luna is up-to-date on vaccines, tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease, and has been spayed and micro-chipped. Please contact Paws of Hope at 269-340-0272 or information@pawsofhope.org if you would like to learn more about our lively and lovely girl, Luna.... [Read Full Story]

Boo, Ghost, and Goblin, are the most adorable ‘spooky’ kittens you’ll ever see and they’re ready to find their new forever homes! These spooky little kittens are about seven weeks old. At first, these young kittens are timid when it comes to new surroundings. However, once comfortable they are ready to cause mischief! Ghost, with his long hair, enjoys curling up to watch his siblings from a distance before sneaking up on them. Goblin is the adventurous kitten, looking to pounce on his siblings or any toy nearby. Boo is a bit shy and gave us quite a fright when we discovered she has a bobtail. They are bound to ‘haunt’ your thoughts with their undeniable cuteness! The adoption fee is $55 for a Cass County resident or $60 for an out of county resident. Please contact Cass County Animal Control at 269-445-3701 to learn more about our adorable ‘Spooky Kittens’ – Boo, Ghost, and Goblin!... [Read Full Story]

Meet adorable, adoptable Clucky! This 2-4 year old Shepard mix is already spayed, up to date with all her vaccines, and ready to snuggle. Clucky is by far the most photogenic pup here at BCAC and has a natural zest for life. This sweet girl would love to find someone who would take her out on adventures during the day and cuddle all night. Clucky came to us as a stray so, unfortunately, we don’t know much about her past. We do know that she would do best in a home as the only animal and she would do best with older kids only. Sadly, Clucky has Heartworm Disease. This has not dulled her sparkle at all! Thanks to Friends of Berrien County Animal Control and one of our wonderful veterinarians, we have started treatment for Clucky! If you are interested in adopting Clucky, please stop in to meet her Mondays-Fridays 8:30-4:30 and Saturdays 8:30-Noon. Or, give Berrien County Animal Control a call at 269-927-5648!...
