He enjoys playing with anything that moves, and with his brother, Howie. He gets along well with the adult cats in his foster home, and isn’t afraid to engage in playtime with them. Sheldon loves to be around people. In spite of his playful kitten energy, he likes to be held and petted. Sheldon is neutered, current on his vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV-FIV. Spunky is a 4-6 year old American Terrier Mix, neutered and up to date on shots. Spunky has been in the shelter since December 2021. Spunky is one of a kind, and patience is key with him, and allowing him an adjustment period. He is wary of people at first, but once he knows you he will love you. Spunky is very well mannered and is house broken. He loves to run around the play yard, playing fetch and soaking in the fresh air. Spunky would do well in a home with older, respectful children, and respectful dogs. Eldora is a fun-loving Pit Bull Terrier mix who is around 3 years old. She came to us as a stray who had clearly had puppies. Eldora was also found to be heartworm positive. Since arriving, Eldora has gone through treatment for her heartworm and we are happy to say she is doing great! Eldora loves people, and is very friendly to strangers. She absolutely loves to play and chase balls or chew on stuffed toys. Eldora will keep you entertained with her happy antics! She is microchipped, spayed, and vaccinated. Rico is 2-4 years old and is a Terrier-Mix. He is up-to-date on his shots and has been neutered. Rico tested heartworm + when he first arrived at our shelter on December 10th, 2021. He has completed his heartworm treatment. It took awhile to get Rico to warm up to us and to not be afraid. He is a completely different dog now, and loves his people! Rico may need a few minutes to warm up to you, too, but once he does you will be best friends and cuddle buddies for life! Rico loves to play with toys. When he first came in it didn’t seem like he knew what they were, but now that he understands the concept of them he will play. He is a sweet and quiet dog. He would do well in a home of any type: dogs, cats or kids. He is around 80lbs but is a gentle giant.
