Naomi Campbell is a mother.
The 50-year-old supermodel surprised everyone on Tuesday when she announced on Instagram that she had welcomed her first child, a baby girl.
Naomi shared a photo of herself holding the newborn’s feet and wrote, “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel. There is no greater love.”
She didn’t reveal the father or whether she gave birth, hired a surrogate or adopted.
A source tells Page Six, “Naomi has been wanting to be a mother for a long time and it finally happened. She is the godmother to many friends and family’s kids and has always looked forward to the day of starting her own family.”

A man in Texas who bought Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina-scented candle claims it “exploded” and nearly killed him. Now he’s suing.
In the class-action complaint, Colby Watson said he purchased the candle, which is called “This Smells Like My Vagina,” from Paltrow’s Goop website in January. He said when he lit it for the first time it “exploded” and became “engulfed in high flames” after burning for about three hours.
A warning on the candle advises users not to burn it for more than two hours.
A rep for Goop tells NBC News, “We’re confident this claim is frivolous and an attempt to secure an outsized payout from a press-heavy product. We stand behind the brands we carry and the safety of the products we sell. Here, Heretic—the brand that supplies the candle— has substantiated the product’s performance and safety through industry standard testing.”
Watson, who is suing Paltrow’s company for breach of warranty and products liability, is trying to put together a class seeking damages exceeding $5 million.

Actor Charles Grodin died Tuesday from bone marrow cancer at the age of 86.

Jimmy Fallon has a late-night gig for at least another few years.
NBC has renewed The Tonight Show with Jimmy as host for five more years.
He had kept the Tonight Show number-one in the ratings ever since taking over for Jay Leno in 2014, at least for the first few years. During the Trump years, Stephen Colbert took over as the king of late night, and even Jimmy Kimmel moved past Fallon eventually. But now that’s Biden‘s president, the Tonight Show has been gaining in the ratings.
Plus, Jimmy is involved in six projects at NBC, including That’s My Jam and The Kids Tonight Show, so they couldn’t get rid of him that easily.

OK! magazine says Bill Gates’ close relationship with his former girlfriend, Ann Winblad, allegedly destroyed his marriage to his wife, Melinda. A source tells the magazine “He is close to her. Romance or not, when one spouse loves the company of another person outside of the marriage and perpetuates that friendship over many years, it can help destroy trust. He could have treated Melinda better. He’s not a saint, but there isn’t one thing that created the final split. It goes deeper than that.”

The Daily Record claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are allegedly planning a new tell-all Royal documentary. Writer Angela Levin is quoted by the newspaper as saying,  “There is a lot more. I think there is another documentary in the making where they will have taken films of various rooms and maybe even of various conversations. They can then go detail by detail about how terrible certain things were. I’m waiting for that one. I think it will be yet another nail in the coffin of his relationship to his father and his brother. They can’t trust him anymore.”

Sunday night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards could have been called the Marvel Awards, as WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier won nearly half of the trophies.
The two Marvel/Disney Plus shows picked up a total of six trophies. WandaVision was up for five awards and took home four — including best show. Star Elizabeth Olsen walked away with best performance in a show, her costar Kathryn Hahn was named best villain, and together they won best fight.
During her acceptance speech, Elizabeth said, “You guys are just the greatest fans anyone can have, and I have loved playing this part for seven years. Really, nothing could have been better than to have WandaVision. We had so much fun making it and I hope we moved you. I hope we entertained you.”
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier picked up best duo for stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, and Mackie also went home with best hero.
In the movie categories, To All the Boys: Always and Forever was named best feature, while Chadwick Boseman got a posthumous win for best performance for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom — making up for his controversial loss at last month’s Oscars. The late Black Panther star got a standing ovation.
Scarlett Johansson received the Generation Award. In a funny moment, her husband Colin Jost slimed her, mistaking the MTV Awards for the Nickelodeon Awards.
In another highlight, Sacha Baron Cohen accepted the Comedic Genius Award as several of his most iconic characters.
Leslie Jones, who was the host, opened the show with a bit that saw her being inserted into shows like WandaVision. She also won the award for best comedic performance for Coming 2 AmericaSnoop Dogg served as the night’s DJ.

The Bill Gates divorce has gotten messy. He’s having his #MeToo moment.
The Wall Street Journal reports that last year Gates was pushed off the board of Microsoft, which he co-founded, due to an inappropriate “sexual relationship” with a Microsoft employee. The engineer claimed in a letter that the affair with Gates started in 2000 and went on for years.
The New York Times published on Sunday a report that two other Microsoft employees received “go out for dinner with me” messages from Gates. One of the women was emailed in 2006. She ghosted Bill, who concluded his email, (quote) “If this makes you uncomfortable, pretend it never happened.”
These disturbing reports follow another that noted how Melinda Gates began divorce proceedings the same month that Bill was exposed for having a chummy friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. (Wall Street Journal)

If Prince Harry wants to keep trashing the Royal Family, he should give up his titles — at least that’s what Royal aides believe.
Harry went on Dax Shepard‘s podcast to talk about his new documentary about mental health and said his father caused him great pain and suffering. He added that Prince Charles experienced the same thing, because it’s “genetic” in the Royal Family.
A Royal aide is quoted by The Daily Mail as saying, “People are appalled that he could do this to the Queen when the Duke of Edinburgh is barely in his grave.”
Sources say the Royal Family is fed up with Harry speaking ill of them. One insider said, “The Duke of Sussex has now spent a significant amount of time emphasizing that he’s no different to anyone else and attacking the institution which he says caused him so much pain. There is a growing feeling that if you dislike the institution that much, you shouldn’t have the titles.”

Ellen DeGeneres insists those toxic workplace allegations and her dip in the ratings had nothing to do with her decision to end of her talk show.
The comedian told the Today show’s Savannah Guthrie that that if she was still “having fun, I would do this show with nobody watching,” and that if she was quitting over the toxic workplace allegations, “I would have not come back this year” for season 18.
Ellen told The Hollywood Reporter that she had planned to end after Season 19 three years ago.
On the Today show, she said she did think of quitting last year, adding that the personal attacks felt “orchestrated,” “coordinated” and “very misogynistic.” She admitted it “took a toll on me. No, I’m not bulletproof. And no, I don’t have thick skin. I’m extremely sensitive to the point of it’s not healthy how sensitive I am.”
As far as her tumble in the ratings, Ellen said, “Everything in television is down. It’s got nothing to do with why I’m leaving.”

That long-delayed Friends reunion special will debut on HBO Max on May 27th.

Guest stars include David Beckham, Justin Bieber, James Corden, Cindy CrawfordLady Gaga, Kit Harington, Mindy Kaling, Tom Selleck, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

Prince Harry tells Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast that being in the Royal family is a cross between ”The Truman Show” and being in a zoo. “Yep, it’s a mix between ‘The Truman Show’ and being in a zoo.  I was in my early 20s and I was thinking, I don’t want this job, I don’t want to be here. I don’t want to be doing this. Look what it did to my mum, how am I ever going to settle down and have a wife and family when I know it’s going to happen again. I’ve seen behind the curtain, I’ve seen the business model and know how this operation works. I don’t want to be part of this.”

Ellen DeGeneres has announced she is ending her talk show after 19-seasons.
The 63-year-old comedian and host informed her staff Tuesday that she will wrap the show at the end of the 2021-2022 season and told The Hollywood Reporter, “When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged – and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore.” She adds that her decision to end the show was made a long time ago, and before claims were made about the alleged toxic work environment behind the scenes. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck look very much back together as the two reportedly spent a week together in Montana.
A source tells People magazine, “[Jennifer] spent several days with Ben out of town. They have a strong connection. It’s all been quick and intense, but Jennifer is happy.”
The two stars were seen in a car together near a resort in Big Sky, where Ben has a home. They were later spotted arriving back in L.A. on Saturday on a private jet.
This comes a few weeks after the two were seen hanging at her L.A. home.
Ben and Jen were engaged in 2002 but split in early 2004.
A source recently told People magazine, “They have a lot of love for each other. They have always admired each other.”

Everyone was surprised by Jennifer Lopez‘s reunion with Ben Affleck, but no one was as surprised as Alex Rodriguez.
The baseball legend was engaged to the singer up until a month ago, and a source tells E! News, “A-Rod is shocked that J.Lo has moved on. He truly thought they would be able to make it work and reconnect. He has been reaching out to J.Lo trying to meet with her and she has been very short with him.”
J. Lo and Ben pretty much confirmed their rekindled romance by taking a weeklong vacation in Montana. “They were alone,” an insider said. “Just the two of them.”
According to the source, Alex is “saddened” about his ex’s reunion with the Oscar-winner and has even reached out to her to let her know “he’s upset.”
The insider added, “She’s not interested in rekindling anything with A-Rod and is done.”

NBC won’t air the 2022 Golden Globes because of a lack of diversity within the Hollywood Foreign Press Association.
In a statement, the network said, “We continue to believe that the HFPA is committed to meaningful reform. However, change of this magnitude takes time and work, and we feel strongly that the HFPA needs time to do it right. As such, NBC will not air the 2022 Golden Globes. Assuming the organization executes on its plan, we are hopeful we will be in a position to air the show in January 2023.”
The move comes the same day Tom Cruise returned his Golden Globes in protest. He reportedly packed up his trophies for Born on the Fourth of July (best actor, drama), Jerry Maguire (best actor, comedy or musical) and Magnolia (best supporting actor) and sent them to the offices of the HFPA.
The HFPA has come under fire for not having any Black members. Though the organization insists it’s planning to make changes, including admitting 20 new members with a focus on Black recruitment, stars like Mark Ruffalo and Scarlett Johansson have called on Hollywood to “step back” from HFPA and the Globes.

He wrote, “So happy to share these kids with you. Luckiest parents in the world. Thanks for all the good you do. Happy Mother’s Day. Love, their Dad.”
Ben, who also shared photos of Jen with their three children, added, “I’m very grateful and respectful of her. Our marriage didn’t work, and that’s difficult. Both of us really believe that it’s important for kids to see their parents respect one another and get along, whether they’re together or not.”
The actor said that “it’s important for my kids to know that I respect and care about Jen and she treats me the same way.”
Ben and Jen were married from 2005 to 2018.

Actress and video vixen Tawny Kitaen died at her Newport Beach, California home Friday morning at the age of 59. A cause of death was not immediately revealed.
With roles in the 1984 Tom Hanks movie Bachelor Party, as well a 1991 episode of Seinfeld, she is best remembered for her seductive moves in and on the hood of a Jaguar in Whitesnake‘s video for 1987’s “Here I Go Again.”
She was marred to Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale from 1989 to 1991.
Tawny also had an affair with O.J. Simpson during his marriage to Nicole Brown Smith.
Tawney was married to former Major League pitcher Chuck Finley from 1997 to 2002. They split following Finley filing an assault charge against her.
Since then she’s had run-ins with the law for drug possession and driving under the influence.
She leaves behind two daughters from her marriage to Finley.

They used to be one of Hollywood’s most successful screen teams, but it seems Seth Rogen and James Franco won’t be appearing in a movie together any time soon.
Seth has finally broken his silence on his buddy’s alleged sexually inappropriate behavior. In an interview with The Sunday Times, Seth said, “What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.”
Will he ever work with Franco again? Rogen said, “I also look back to that interview in 2018 where I comment that I would keep working with James, and the truth is that I have not and I do not plan to right now.”
Still, Seth wouldn’t say that his friendship with James is over. “I don’t know if I can define that right now during this interview. I can say it, um, you know, it has changed many things in our relationship and our dynamic.”
The actors have co-starred in such movies as Pineapple ExpressThis Is the End, The Interview and The Disaster Artist.

Ellen DeGeneres is living with another woman — Courteney Cox. But it’s not what you think.
On Thursday’s episode of Ellen, the comedian revealed she’s been staying at the Friends star’s home because she recently sold her Beverly Hills home.
“I’m not having marital troubles,” Ellen said about her wife Portia de Rossi. “I’m not living with Courteney Cox because I’m kicked out of my house.”
Courteney does have some issues with her new roommate. The actress said she sent her assistant over to make sure everything was okay at the house. “And all of the sudden it was like, ‘Wait a minute. Ellen’s toothbrush is on my side!’ I had her open the drawer and I was like, ‘Well, where’s my makeup?’ So essentially you’re a terrible roommate. You took over my side and your side.”
Ellen replied, “That was Portia who took over your side. I only have one side. She happened to be there one night.”

Four tigers were seized Thursday at Jeff Lowe‘s Tiger King Park in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
The Tiger King star, who was business partners with Joe Exotic, who owns the property, tells TMZ that federal authorities “executed a search and seizure warrant Thursday morning…and began taking animals away, which he believes is a violation of his constitutional rights.”
Jeff, who took over the zoo from Joe Exotic, claimed the feds refused to tell him why they seized the animals, but according to the warrant they’re taking animals protected by the Endangered Species Act.
There are no criminal charges to speak of yet and no arrests have been made. We’re told the feds were there to gather the big cats for “evidence.”
Netflix is planning to release Season Two of a Tiger King documentary series later this year. It’s not clear if the story revolves around Jeff Lowe.

Matthew Perry is the latest star to be outed as a user of the celebrity dating app Raya.
Kate Haralson recently posted a TikTok video of a private FaceTime call with the Friends star to expose how older men in Hollywood are “taking advantage” of younger women on dating apps.
Kate, who was 19 at the time, tells Page Six, “A lot of people were saying I’m a bully and mean for posting this, and it made me feel kind of bad, but at the same time, I feel like a lot of guys in Hollywood are talking to all these young girls and it’s something that I think a lot of people should be aware of.”
Kate says she “never even really watched Friends,” but agreed to talk with the actor because she thought it “would be funny.”
Perry allegedly suggested they play “20 Questions” to get to know each other better. Kate says none of the questions were sexual, but she did feel uncomfortable at times.
Kate, who’s now 20 and an L.A.-based personal assistant, claimed the Odd Couple star asked her at one point, “Am I as old as your dad?” She admitted that he was only about a year older than her father, which she claimed Matthew “laughed off.”
Haralson said she was “inspired” by the TikTok video another user posted of Ben Affleck after matching with him on Raya.
But Kate says she decided to remove her video because she “did feel a little bit bad,” adding that Perry really was a “nice guy.”

New details reveal that Bill and Melinda Gates negotiated their divorce for months. They planned to announce in March, but the pair still squabbled over details.
Melinda hoped to be unreachable at the time of the March announcement. She rented a private island for $132,000 per night. The entire family would escape the media crush on Calivigny Island in Grenada.
However, Bill Gates was not invited to Caribbean island. The family blames Bill for the divorce. According to TMZ, “There’s a considerable amount of acrimony associated with the split and virtually everyone in the family took Melinda’s side.”
Melinda Gates traveled in March to Calivigny without Bill. Then , this week, on the day she filed for divorce, he transferred $1.8 billion (with a B) worth of stock to her.

Josh appeared over Zoom for the hearing.

The former reality star was arrested on child pornography charges last month. He’s pled not guilty.
The judge ruled that Josh will be released from jail on Thursday to “close friends” of the Duggar family. According to People magazine, he’ll be confined to their home and monitored with GPS tracking.

Bill and Melinda Gates are getting divorced after 27 years of marriage.
In a statement that the Microsoft co-founder tweeted out, the two say, “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage. Over the last 27 years, we have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives. We continue to share a belief in that mission and will continue our work together at the foundation, but we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple in this next phase of our lives. We ask for space and privacy for our family as we begin to navigate this new life.”
Melinda was a marketing manager at Microsoft when the two met at a dinner for the company’s employees in 1987. They have three children.

The people who allegedly dognapped Lady Gaga‘s two French Bulldogs and shot her dog walker were arrested today (Thursday), according to TMZ.
The woman who “found” the dogs was among those arrested.
TMZ says the key evidence in the case was a “video of where the dogs were dropped off in an alley days after the February 24th dognapping.”
While investigators initially believed the incident was part of a gang initiation, they now say the suspects were part of a dog-stealing ring.
According to sources, the suspects bailed on the dogs after getting nervous by all the publicity surrounding the incident. They were also hoping to cash in on the $500,000 reward. The woman who “found” the dogs, however, never got the money.
The poches were returned to Gaga unharmed, and the dogwalker, Ryan Fischer, is recovering after several weeks in the hospital.

Josh Duggar was arrested by Homeland Security on Thursday, People magazine reports.
The former 19 Kids and Counting star was being held without bond in an Arkansas jail.
As of Thursday night, his charges were not disclosed.
Josh, 33, has had a number of run-ins with the law over the years. In 2015, it was revealed that he had been investigated as a teen for inappropriately touching five underage girls, including two of his sisters.
In 2019, Josh was accused of real estate fraud and was “being sued for ‘quiet title’ and breaching a contract, according to court records.”
Josh’s place of employment, an Arkansas car dealership, was also previously raided by Homeland Security as part of an “ongoing federal investigation” in November 2019.
His arrest comes days after his wife Anna announced that she and Josh are expecting their seventh child together.

The first photos of Nicole Kidman in that upcoming Lucille Ball bio-pic have hit the internet, and fans aren’t sold.
Nicole was recently photographed on the Los Angeles set of Being the Ricardos along with co-star Javier Bardem, who plays Desi Arnaz. Though she wore a curly red wig, fans were fuming because they don’t think she resembles the I Love Lucy star.
One person wrote, “I love her but she looks nothing like Lucy.”
Another said, “She’s a good actress but this is not the role for her.”
Many others suggested another famous redhead play the part. “Debra Messing should be Lucille Ball,” one person added. “Brutal casting. Nicole has zero sense of humour.”
Writer and director Aaron Sorkin defended the casting in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said, “They’re going to be fantastic…These are two of the greatest actors ever.”

Actor Randy Quaid said he’s “seriously considering” making a bid for the office. In a tweet, Randy wrote, “The prosecutorial corruption in California…is rampant; and I promise that if elected I will clean up the District Attorney Offices throughout the state.”
On Monday, the California secretary of state’s office announced that the recall effort to oust Governor Newsom has gotten the required number of signatures.
Randy, who starred in the National Lampoon’s Vacation movies and is the brother of Dennis Quaid, has had a number of legal problems over the past few years, including burglary and fraud.
Last week, Caitlyn announced that she will run in the recall election against Newsom.

Though he split with the reality star on The Bachelor‘s “After the Final Rose” special last month over racially insensitive photos, the couple has been seen together on several occasions since.
Now Matt tells People magazine, “I’ve seen Rachael a handful of times. I’m not pursuing any relationships right now outside of that. I said I was going to focus on my relationship with her and that means focusing on it.”
Asked if Rachael has been doing the work she promised in regard to educating herself about racism, Matt said, “That’s something you could talk to her about.”
He quashed the idea that he’ll appear on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise.

Glenn Close reveals that her viral dancing moment at Sunday’s Oscars was indeed scripted but her dance was not.
During the telecast, comedian Lil Rel Howery tested attendees about songs that may have been nominated for Oscars in the past. Glenn correctly identified Experience Unlimited‘s “Da Butt” from Spike Lee‘s 1988 film School Daze and then did the accompanying dance.
In an Instagram post, she explained that her interaction with Howery was indeed scripted. However, her decision to stand up and dance was completely spontaneous.
Glenn, who was seated with screenwriter Chris Terrio, actor Darrell Britt-Gibson and Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya, explained, “I knew that Lil Rel was going to quiz me about ‘Da Butt’ and all three guys helped me run through what I was to say.” She said she “had googled ‘Da Butt’ and watched Spike’s music video so when Lil Rel asked if I could do the dance…you can actually see me think of the video.”
She added: “That part was completely spontaneous. Daniel, Darrell and Chris egged me on!!!”

If Caitlyn Jenner is going to make a serious bid for California governor, she might have to do it without the support of her family.
According to TMZ, Caitlyn’s sons are embarrassed by her decision to run and disappointed that she made the decision without talking it over first with her family. They also say she’s not qualified to run and hoped she would reconsider. Jenner’s daughter’s, Kendall and Kylie, have also said they will not be joining Caitlyn on the campaign trail, and neither will the rest of the Kardashian clan.

The Flintstones are heading back to TV.
Deadline reports that FOX has partnered with Warner Brothers for Bedrock, a sequel to the classic animated series.
Plans are to move the timeline forward about 20 years, with Fred nearing retirement age, and daughter Pebbles now beginning her professional life. Elizabeth Banks will voice Pebbles and executive produce.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a sequel to the original Flintstones. A 1990s TV movie depicted Pebbles and her forever pal Bamm Bamm Rubble marrying, and moving to “Hollyrock,” with her pursuing a show biz career.
The info we’ve seen on this revival makes no mention of Bamm Bamm or his parents, Barney and Betty.

You don’t have to tell pet owners this … A new survey found that 61% of respondents said they consider their pet to be their child. 42% of pet parents even said they got their pet as a “starter child,” to see if they’re ready for kids.
How extreme do some pet parents get? 29% said they’ve thrown their pet birthday parties, 24% said they wear matching outfits with their pet, and 21% said they watch shows with their pet. And 41% said they have actually celebrated Mother’s Day or Father’s Day with their pet.

When it comes to movie and TV show recommendations, people don’t listen to what the critics have to say. New research has found that when it comes to suggestions for what to watch, people are more likely to listen to friends, family, and even random people on social media than professional critics. Just 9% said they look to critics for suggestions on things to watch, read, or play. Instead, people looked to friends (47%), family members (44%), streaming platform algorithms (21%), and social media users (18%) for recommendations over critics.

And, in the past, if you wanted to make a plastic surgery improvement to yourself, the most common thing to change was the size of one’s breasts. However, today, according to the founder of the beauty website Violet Grey, quote, “Teeth have become the new boob job.”

Anthony Hopkins was just as surprised as everyone else when he won the Best Actor Oscar Sunday night.
The star, who wasn’t at the ceremony, posted a video message Monday morning. He said, “Here I am in my homeland in Wales. At 83 years of age, I did not expect to get this award, I really didn’t. I’m very grateful to the Academy.”
He brought up the late Chadwick Boseman, who was expected to win the award. “I want to pay tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who was taken from us far too early. I really did not expect this, so I feel very privileged and honored.”
In the caption, Hopkins also thanked The Father director Florian Zeller, his wife and family.
In a change to the schedule, the best actor award was the final trophy given out, leading many to believe the show was setting up Boseman’s win as the finale. When that didn’t happen, many people online thought the Oscars had made another La La Land – Moonlight slipup.
While many folks thought Boseman was robbed, his family is not among them. Derrick Boseman tells TMZ that he doesn’t believe his brother’s lose was a “snub because every nominated actor was excellent and deserving of the award. He says the family isn’t upset or agitated whatsoever that Chadwick’s name wasn’t called at the end of the Oscars ceremony.”

Carrie Anne Inaba will be taking a leave of absence from The Talk to focus on her “health and well-being.”
In an Instagram video, the co-host said, “We all know health is the most precious gift we have. And I need to take care of mine. I appreciate the love and support from all of you and from my family at The Talk. I hope to be back soon! Ready for action! I’m sending you all my love. And I’ll update you on my progress… talk soon.”
The move comes only one day after The Sun reported that Carrie Ann is feuding with co-host Sheryl Underwood.
Inaba’s also comes on the heels of Sharon Osbourne‘s departure following her recent on-air confrontation with Underwood.

One of Michael Jackson‘s accusers in that controversial 2019 HBO documentary has lost his latest court challenge.
Variety says the suit by Wade Robson, one of the principal figures seen in Leaving Neverland, was dismissed Monday by a California judge.
It accused two production companies owned by Jackson of failing to protect boys from the entertainer’s sexual advances. But Judge Mark A. Young ruled that the companies had no ability to control Jackson because Jackson owned them outright.
Jonathan Steinsapir, representing Jackson’s companies, accused Robson of spending “the last eight years pursuing frivolous claims in different lawsuits against Michael Jackson’s estate and companies associated with it.”
Young also dismissed a similar suit last fall by James Safechuck, the other main Jackson accuser in Leaving Neverland.
Robson’s attorney said that he would appeal the ruling.

I have to be honest: If things had gone differently this past week in Minneapolis, I might have traded in my heels for marching boots. I know many of you want to reach for your remote when you feel Hollywood is preaching to you, but as the mother of a Black son who fears for his safety, no fame or fortune changes that.”
She also explained why attendees weren’t wearing masks, saying, “We’re doing it maskless. Think of this as a movie set, with a cast of over 200 nominees. We are following all of the rigorous protocols that got us back to work safely.” Those protocols include wearing a mask when the cameras aren’t rolling, but taking them off while filming.

She left over an on-air disagreement with co-host Sheryl Underwood after Sharon defended her friend, British journalist Piers Morgan, over his criticism of Meghan Markle following her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Friday on HBO’s Real Time With Bill MaherSharon said, “It’s not fair, because it isn’t about being a racist. It’s about maybe not knowing what is correct and woke for your language that day, because it changes from day to day…

Sharon, who was reportedly given a $10 million payout, added, “I’m going to be just fine. I’m fine. I’m a fighter. I’m fine.”
But she did question Prince Harry‘s own feelings about race and privilege. “You know when they say with white privilege? Right there with Harry. He’s the poster boy. Sheryl Underwood addressed the elephant in the room, (quote) “We need to process the events, so we can get to the healing. By the end of the hour, we want everyone to feel ready to move forward.”
Underwood confirmed Sharon’s account that her apologetic texts went unanswered. She told The Talk audience that she declined to respond because of the ongoing CBS investigation. Sheryl added, (quote) “If Sharon greeted me warmly, I would give her that in the same. I want people to understand when you’re friends, you stay friends.”
Co-host Elaine Welteroth said, (quote) “There have been a lot of false narratives spun in the media that frame both Sheryl and myself as co-conspirators in attacking Sharon. That is absolutely categorically false and unfair.”
During the discussion with a trauma specialist, Underwood confessed, (quote) “I feel like I’ve been in PTSD. I really wanted to get back to work with my friends and my colleagues and the crew.” (Entertainment Tonight)

Harvey Weinstein doesn’t want to go to L.A.
The disgraced movie producer wants to remain in a New York prison and is fighting extradition on “humanitarian grounds.” His lawyer Norman Effman says that he’s basically blind and has lost four teeth behind bars. He has medical procedures scheduled to address both issues. Effman says this is on top of previously documented cardiac issues, diabetes and back pain.
A new hearing is set for later in the month. (TMZ)

Last year’s edition of American Idol was really weird, thanks to the COVID pandemic — in fact, it was so weird that producers are bringing back the finalists for another shot this year.
The 2020 edition was just about to kick off when California went into lockdown, and the top ten contestants were forced to compete remotely from their homes. A year later, the Idol folks have decided that wasn’t fair, so they’re bringing back ten of the top-20 for a do-over on a show that will air April 19th. Voting will go on for two weeks, since the Academy Awards will pre-empt the show on the 26th.
Last year’s champion, Just Sam, was not asked back because she has already won the show. Two other finalists, Dillon James and Francisco Martin, snagged record deals, so they weren’t eligible to compete again. (Billboard)

Some people in the Dominican Republic aren’t too happy to have Vin Diesel as a neighbor.
They accuse Vin’s security detail of being overly aggressive. One fed-up neighbor wrote him a letter that reads, “For a few weeks I have personally witnessed and heard from fellow homeowners the unprecedented and abusive display of your security people around our homes and beach. Interrogating us, blocking our street with five or six SUVs. Stopping residents while walking when you ride your bicycle.”
But a source close to Vin says he’s been vacationing there for 20 years and gotten along with everyone. The source says he even handed out Easter baskets to people in the area, and that the only reason for the heavy security during the bike-riding incident was that his whole family was there. (TMZ)

Police in Southern California have been getting well acquainted with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
According to The Telegraph, cops have been called to their Montecito estate nine times in nine months. That’s how long they’ve lived in the home, which they bought last July.
The calls ranged from phone requests, alarm activations and property crimes. For instance on Christmas Eve, police were called after a man allegedly trespassed on the property.
During their sit-down with Oprah, Harry and Meghan talked about their security concerns and Markle revealed that she had pleaded with the royal family not to take away their personal protection.
